I have not visited in many years and wanted to share my recent experience. Depending on your needs, this could be a nice resource and alternative to other food options nearby. Sandwich, chips and soda came to $17.77 although I did not feel especially lucky: [ 7 | 7 | 7 ]
The service was friendly, skilled and efficient, and yet the takeaway was either I am out of touch with food options on-campus or a high-profile music concert was about to begin in the courtyard based on the meal co$t. In other words, if you are looking for a drink and a snack, they have a nice variety of both. If you are looking for an affordable lunch option that you might consider making a habit, this may inspire you to find your favorite bread at the grocery store, to meal prep your must-have toppings and try the DIY sandwich crafting path instead. If you had a tuna kit and a slice of cheese, would they sell you two nice slices of bread? Maybe next time!“

“The sandwich that myself and my father got was great especially with the buy one great one free deal I would have gave five stars but my sprite and chips was forgotten and they charge me for it. They need to make sure everything is in my order before delivery especially since I was charged for it…“

It really did not taste like an Italian to me. It was a nice version of an Italian sandwich, but it was nothing like the classic. They use a sauce and don’t have oil and vinegar on it.“

“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

It is a take out establishment, check the hours, closed Sun. and Mon. Call ahead if you can to order ahead of time. Affordable. One of Belmont's finest establishments. (Been going here 23 years)“

“In July, I placed a large catering order through DoorDash for our company because we absolutely love Mendocino Farms. Unfortunately, the order was unexpectedly cancelled the night before our Board of Directors meeting, which was incredibly stressful.

Thankfully, General Manager Adam Rivera came to the rescue! He personally took my order the next morning and had everything prepared and ready to go within just three hours. His professionalism, responsiveness, and outstanding customer service completely turned the situation around—I went from stressed out to doing a happy dance!

On top of that, the food was fresh, delicious, and a huge hit with our team. A big thank you to Adam and Mendocino Farms team for going above and beyond—you truly saved the day!“

“2026.01.03 Saturday Mendocino Farms in Palo Alto CA is consistently serving great fresh and sustainably sourced foods and improving their services. Their menu is so refreshing that we came back more than 3x to try their very delicious menu! *The Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich is very satisfying! Great juicy chicken with fresh vegetables! *The Vegan Avocado 🥑 & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada 🥗 is so refreshing! *The Greek Lemon Chicken Farrro Soup (see pic)🥣, we ordered 4x in 2 days! So healthy. Mendocino Farms use very fresh ingredients! The Closing Manager 🤩”Jorge” is so helpful. He does quality checks of foods and asks very pertinent questions regarding how we like the foods. Jorge is always very positive and offers great service! Yes, 🙌 we really appreciate the atmosphere here because the people are nice, they work as an effective team, and they keep the place clean! “You didn't know this before but if you like lunch or enjoy food you should eat here.

First time diner, long time consumer. I made a rookie mistake while ordering the vegetarian sandwich on sourdough. French or dutch crunch roll is recommended. Said I was open to suggestions. Then we added avocado, fresh jalapeno, tapatio, and a side of fries.

I ate half the fries and the smaller cut of the sandwich. I'm excited to be hungry again in about two hours.“

Easy ordering process, but service could be slow during the peak lunch hours. The three salads we tried were all pretty good, and just the right portions. Large free parking lot.“

“I am so glad they opened this sandwich spot! I ordered 5 items for takeout and it came out to only $34. I got 2 veggie sandwiches on Dutch crunch. Best sandwiches in San Mateo County. I also tried their 2 dessert options. They have the bst carrot cake I have ever had! Their chocolate chip cookie tasted very rich. I had their veggie soup which was fresh and delicious. This place is my new go to spot. The location is a little awkward, but the inside is organized and clean. It only took 10 minutes to make my order. Definitely a satisfied customer!!!“

“I went in today and I must say the type of customer service I got was amazing!!! Didn’t get her name but was a short Hispanic lady!! She went above and beyond to help me find some jalapeños chips(she went to the back to check) also her attitude was just amazing!!!“

“We have come to Mendocinos a number of times and always had a good experience however the last time we were there was exceptional. Not only was the food delicious as usually but the service was outstanding. They had gotten my order wrong and were so helpful and prompt in fixing the mistake. “My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.“

“Amazing Turkish restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and full of authentic flavor. The kebabs were perfectly cooked, the bread was warm, and the appetizers were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast and professional. The atmosphere made us feel comfortable and relaxed. “This Subway location has one of the absolute worst employees I’ve ever dealt with. I placed an online order and asked for a little extra sauce, and the Mexican employee behind the counter immediately gave me attitude, made a scene in front of other customers and my guests, and turned a simple request into most embarrassing experience.
