“Probably one of the best sandwich places in the area for the money and probably my new go-to sandwich place. The prices is lower than most of the other chain places around.

The only option for bread is sourdough and the available toppings are limited which may be a turnoff for some. However the price, quality of ingredients, clean seating area and service more than make up for it.

I ordered the Italian with spicy mustard. Good taste and blend of flavors without anything over powering. I love the sandwich assembly line setup they have, food gets made quickly.“

“I absolutely loved this place! This was our first time there and the young lady was patient with me and explained what types of sandwiches she had there! Their service was very fast and the sandwiches are pretty big and DELICIOUS!!! A quiet atmosphere! Oh… And the chicken, rice, vegetables soup was really good- as per my mother and aunt said! 😄“

“I had business at an antique store right across from Mr. Pickle's and I found that the sandwich I ordered was very nice. The price was comparable to other shops I have bought from and the service was friendly and helpful in answering all my questions.“

“Today's sandwich is not as good. The bread was completely dry and not soft like in the past. The cucumbers were completely stale and bitter. We basically extracted out all the produce from our Family size sandwich and chucked the bread along with cucumber. Even with price increased from $21 to $27 and finally $37. It was not palatable. “A must stop for banh mi when visiting San Jose. The line is almost always out the door, sometimes to the end of the building or longer. However, it moves fairly quick, as there's usually multiple cashiers taking orders. The longest wait is actually waiting for your completed order.

They're mostly famous for their banh mis, and sells them in two sizes, small and large. The small is convenient for people who can't finish a whole large by themselves. They also do sell a lot of other things in there, like nem, gio, xoi, etc. It's hard to go in there and not come out with a lot of things.“

“I don't like the new site design with placing the order upfront and then waiting to pickup the sandwiches. it feels like a burger place then the old Togos. the new design is slower and I've had more problems, like getting the wrong sandwich in my bag since multiple people are working on a single order. if this continues to be an issue I'll find a different location to visit.“

“My favorite banh mi. It's my go to before flying on a plane. Sandwiches are excellent with freshly baked bread. Lines are long and the wait can be over a half hour during peak lunch hour. Prices are inexpensive and a great value lunch option.“

“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

“Ordered curbside pickup today. Had so much trouble finding the pickup spot. I finally gave up and called for help. The employees went above and beyond to get me my order. “A little questionable for the location, but my biggest turn off was the staff and the fact you can't see them prepping your sandwich like other TOGO'S locations.
They were talking amongst themselves in Spanish the entire time, which I don't really care about but that paired with the fact it was all done behind a counter I couldn't see just left me wondering if they had properly heard what I wanted in my sandwich.
I luckily I ordered a classic 24 so it was easy enough. I'd go again if I had to though. It's the only TOGO'S in the area I believe.“

“This is an absolute gem and a wonderful addition to Westgate Mall! Tucked right next to FedEx on the corner of Saratoga Avenue and Prospect, Mendocino Farms has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat.
The menu is outstanding—packed with fresh, delicious sandwiches, crisp salads, hearty soups, and their legendary brownies that are simply out of this world. The atmosphere is bright, clean, open, and incredibly welcoming, with a warm and friendly vibe that makes you want to linger.

I stopped in today and had the pleasure of meeting Nicole, the General Manager, and Grant, the Senior Manager. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. When I told my wife about it, her face lit up—she’s a huge fan of Mendocino Farms and used to visit the Palo Alto location all the time when she worked nearby. She can’t wait to join me next time!

I explained that I am a nice person and treat people with respect.
She apologized for being rude.
I sought to understand.
I asked her if something had happened and she said that the customer before I came in was very angry with her.
I have worked in customer service and retail for many years in my lifetime so I can understand what it is like to deal with idiots.
She doesn’t have the luxury of stepping away and taking a breather though.
So again please be kind.
She is a very nice lady.

NOEMI explained the items to me and gave me a sample of a spicy chicken tortilla soup. I chose a delicious tomato basil in cup size and larger bowl size is available Soup is great with grated cheese. I opted for no croutons
The menu includes coffees, two styles of hot chocolate and the Spicy Maya is great bottled CocaCola ® products available.
They offer an array of breakfast goodies, salads, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, and signature tortas This is a heat place to cater a corporate event ir luncheon
The venue is accessible in the first floor of the building. The deli door is open. Accessible order and pick up counter with accessible indoor tables and uncovered area outdoors with a few accessible tables along slightly busy drive
I parked in 2 hour free spot on Metro but these spots are hard to come by
Men’s and women’s restrooms are accessible with dedicated stall 2 grab bars and 5ftx 10 ft space and mostly hands free operation Need a key code restroom sign in braille

“Everything is great except it was super warm in there. One of the employees said it was almost 80 degrees on the thermostat on the wall. I wouldn’t eat there. Definitely a TOgo order! “Mom and pop shop that changed management a couple years back; I’ve had the sandwiches a couple times, and it’s always hit the spot! As a San Jose native, there’s a lot of good bánh mì places but this one is definitely solid. All the sandwiches are made to order and you get value for the prices, especially with the buy 5 get one free deal. The service is great and the owners are usually there in the back! I recommend giving it a try. My go-to is the bánh mì đặc biệt, it’s a classic and I personally like my sandwiches a bit fatty to balance with the veggies.“

“Speaking of Vietnamese ‘street food’ this small shop have a very great selection of snacks and to go meals.

Situated in the Lion Plaza, parking is so easy. The mall, in business for over 40 years, is a nice and relaxing environment without any stressful parking.

Most of the specialty dishes are made on site by the owners guaranteeing fresh items, especially the sweet dessert Chè with coconut milk.

I heartily recommend this small sandwich shop. It’s one of my favorite stops to fix my Vietnamese taste craving. 🌷“
