You’re hungry, you need a sandwich that feels like a sandwich. You don’t want one of those wimpy limp sandwiches that you find for $5. You know the ones, with the iceberg lettuce and the bread that tastes like nothing. You want a MANS SANDWICH. You’re not walking around on your twinkly toes. You might wear a tutu, but that doesn’t define your food desire. That’s right. You want mouth feel. You want to put it in your mouth and not talk for at least 10 minutes. You want food that makes everything stop and take pause. You’re grown, but this sandwich makes your hands look like a child. You’re ready to eat. And eat you shall. That tri tip sandwich is dripping with goodness. It’s a feast between two slices of bread. The thanksgiving sandwich makes you wish you spent your holiday here. Pair that with their soups that don’t quit, or their Mac and cheese that stops the world, you’re in food coma and all you’ve done is smell it. If you’re lucky, you’ll make it there when they have a pork belly special. It will turn you. You won’t know what hit you. But you’ll spend the month dreaming about that sandwich. You think you took a nap, but really, you closed your eyes to re live the feel of that sandwich in your hands, and no one had to know that you woke up eating your pillow. “So I'm traveling from out of town and had 2 seniors (one of whom is half deaf), a toddler, and a 6 month old. It was chaos. Shoutout to Connor, who engaged my dad in conversation while I was getting the toddler squared away, and who gave us an excellent recommendation for some local scenery to visit whilst in town. (Shark beach down highway 1 if anyone is interested in some stunning scenery).

The other staff were also friendly (and patient! Thanks!)

The tables were in need of a wipe but I carry baby wipes with me everywhere anyway and my toddler has yet to meet a messy situation he cant make messier.

The food was exactly what we expected it to be which was why we stopped here to begin with.“
