“I had an iced mocha to drink. It tasted great! To eat, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was excellent, and so were the biscuits. The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.”
“Back again, as this is a regular spot for my family and I. Once again food didn't disappoint. I got my go-to roll which is the warriors roll. Coconut and pineapple sauce is such a great combo and would highly recommend. This time I did try a new menu item: the tofu salad. It was a fairly big salad for an appetizer, but I was a little disappointed in the dressing. Might have just been base we got takeout, but I personally think the dressing was a little bland. I would still highly recommend this restaurant as there are so many other delicious items on the menu to meet anyone's sushi cravings!”
“Best pizza we've had in the area hands down. The crust is so delicious, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors are incredible. The owner is super nice too. Happy to support this wonderful business.”
“I'm new to the area, and maybe there are better places, but I have very little reason to find them. It's bar food, but it is done very well. The staff is friendly, I like that you control the ordering, the atmosphere is great and it seems to be welcoming for all. Check it out, let me know if I'm wrong.”
“Absolutely best beef ribs in town falling off the bone , I highly recommend trying them and asking for a side of Mango Habanero sauce on the side , and don't forget to pair it with some English wings , amazing place and superb Staff , they make you feel like home , great upstairs bar as well and live music and events always going on, much love and keep up the amazing food and positive Vibes”
“Flavor explosion! You'll be hard pressed to beat the food being put out by Hanloh (quality, taste, presentation); it easily bests random places that I've eaten at across Thailand, right in downtown Santa Cruz.Apps were great, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, but the curries are absolutely out of this world. Good beverage selection (though I wish they offered lemonade/similar).The BAD ANIMAL book store setting provides a cool, trendy, hipster vide. And it can also be INCREDIBLY noisy.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible.”
“Okay I am soooo serious when I say they have THE BEST super burritos here. I got the carne asada (steak). The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the best part it had NO CHEWY fat gristle! The picture truly does it no justice. The amount of other toppings was harmony to the steak. The super comes with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheese and meat. I added pico de gallo bite to bite and boy it was just delicious. I am sad they only have two locations and both are in Scotts Valley. But I will say it's good enough to take the 45 minute drive.”
“We LOVE Auntie mame's! Every time we come the food hits the spot. Always delicious and filling. Always great service and great spot to hang out for a quick bite or to chill and eat.”
“Armitage wines offers a truly outstanding experience. It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage.Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip.If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.”
“Tasty chile rellenos with rice and beans. Very nice taco and enchilada. So cheesy! We were expecting salty or oily but we got neither so it was great. You can set up your thick tortilla chips with pico de gallo or a couple of other salsas. You order up front counter, pay and they bring your food to you.”
“We had Thai Heart do a large take-out order for a joint 40th birthday party we were hosting. They did such an amazing job not only getting all the food prepared in time but packaged it in large catering trays in cardboard boxes for easy transportation. The food was delicious and in generous portions; it ended up being way more cost-effective than any catering companies we could find. Can't recommend them enough!”
“We've been out of our house for three nights. No power up in Boulder Creek decided decided to stay at the Hilton tonight. Didn't know what we wanted to eat. We wanted sushi. We ate it all of them but we decided to try wasabi went there when they first opened. We got signed up for all you can eat sushi you get three rounds of sushi. All you could possibly ever want. We left with two bags of food. I had to pay for the to go containers which I'm not quite sure what that was all about, but all in all it was $104 so a little bit more for the three of us to eat good time. The waitress was wonderful very accommodating and sweet. Felt really bad. She got kind of bullied by some takeout orders, and we kind of heard about it because the restaurant so small.”
“This is one of my favorite place to get Mexican food, the service is amazing, the Atmosphere is amazing, and the food is AMAZING I absolutely love there burritos.”
“This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had. The food is made from scratch right when you order it it's definitely worth the wait. The service and staff is amazing.”
“Awesome sushi and fast service. To be honest, you are really missing out if you are in Scott's Valley for dinner and don't come here. Service: Fast, polite waiters have your food out in minutes and always check to make sure you are enjoying the food. Food: Undoubtedly the best sushi place I've been to. The popcorn lobster roll is great but the chicken katsu is incredible. Bento boxes come with tons of food: salad, fruit, rice, sauce, extra veggies, and choice of two main dishes (rolls, tempura, etc.) Sushi rolls are packed with ingredients and are super tasty. You will always leave feeling full. Ambiance: Red lights on shelf close to ceiling, creating a strip light like effect. Walls are filled with Japanese paintings. Seats are red and black, including booths. There is a sushi bar to sit at, and multiple TVs playing sports games. Price: A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Ingredients are always super fresh and leave you super full. In reality, you won't find a sushi place much cheaper anyways. In all, amazing resturaunt!”
