“BEST BAGEL PLACE IN SANTA CRUZ. Bagels are fresher and larger than Bagelry. Portions are bigger and cheaper than the Bagelry. You get more stuff on your bagel without having to pay extra, which unfortunately is the case at the Bagelry. I always get a Lox sandwich with capers, onions, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber already included in the price which is $7. At the Bagelry when I order a Lox sandwich, I get a stale bagel twice smaller and I have to pay extra for capers and tomatoes- $13 total, which does not have any lettuce or cucumber in it. House of Bagels is the best bang for your buck and has the tastiest bagels around. (Pic is what I took to-go this morning)“

“Cruise Coffee Company has the most delectable eats, smooth coffee and flavorful tea options, all made locally and specially for the shops. Their prices are surprisingly low and you truly get a wonderful value for the best cup of coffee or tea AND the most amazing baked goods around.“

“Came to Ferrell's twice for breakfast sandwiches during a recent stay at the Four Points Sheraton just a 3 minute walk away. - It's a tiny little place that felt like a throwback to a bygone era. Simple, cute, clean, and charming. Had good service from the same nice gentleman both times I was there. If you're looking for some simple morning fare while staying nearby, I would definitely recommend you check out this Ferrell's location.“

“Where do I even start with this amazing bakery?! Melinda has made both my wedding cake and my anniversary cake and honestly her cakes just keep getting better. She made us a Tres Leches cake both times and has somehow aced the flavor without making a soggy mess of a cake (something that happens everytime I've tried to make a gluten free soaked cake at home). My husband loves their maple donuts. They are baked and worth every cent!“

Christmas eve i noticed a voicemail from the day before I missed from them saying they needed my credit card number to refund my order for 50 tamales since i cancelled the order. Almost lost my mind since i did not cancel my order and had already paid them $200 two weeks prior for 4 dozen tamales and had 50 people coming to my house in an hour and my husband was already on the way to get the order. Had to call a couple times to get a resolution and a lot of back and forth and being told they didn’t have any order for me. Luckily they did have my food and got a cancellation mixed up with mine but i needed a blood pressure monitor after that.“

“This review is only for the Pecan Pie which is incredibly delicious. We bought the smaller one as we've never tried their Pecan Pie. We will definitely be buying the regular size soon. The Pecan Pie is a 2023 winner at the National Pie Championships! We've eaten several types of their pies in the past and they're all delicious. The Cherry Pie, Pumpkin Pie and The Berry Bomb were all 2023 winners in their divisions. You can order the pies online or at many Farmers Markets or some grocery stores. I would highly recommend giving them a try.“

“As a vegan, finding a truly delicious birthday cake is tough to find. But Black China Bakery outdid themselves! My husband ordered the vegan raspberry chocolate cake for my 64th and it's the best I've had in a long time. Kaitlin outdid herself with the decorating as well. As a long time vegan cook and baker, I'm not sure how she manages such a delicious frosting, but it was divine. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Black China Bakery. They were kind, accommodating to my husband's requests and all around a business that deserves our support.“

“Sherri’s Cookies! If you have been to the Capitola Mall then you may have seen these guys or even tried them yourself. They have these little TOLL HOUSE Chocolate Chip Cookies and mini snickerdoodles. I love just grabbing a few since they are small.I needed to grab a sweet treat one day and stopped here while waiting for another order nearby. They had just baked some fresh cinnamon roll twists that were not even frosted yet. I got two of them to go and they were so delicious and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.Everyone who works here is super-nice and always helpful. “I found Rebecca's muffins at Campbell farmers market. They are so delicious and you can't really tell whether they are sugar free, soy free, gluten free and vegan. I have some health problem so I have to be on an anti inflammatory diet and I just look forward to every Sunday where I can go buy her muffins. God bless her!“

“Felton donuts was good, nothing extremely special about it. Just like any other donut shop you would go to. The place was clean and organized and the staff was very polite. Will I go here again. Yes cause either way this is the only donut shop in Felton, the nearest besides this is 6.8 miles ?“

“Pacific Cookie Company has been the spot since the 80s. You might see a line out the door at times, other times you can walk right up. They close at midnight muahaha! The cookies are unique and perfect. They pack them with care too, the service is always exceptional. If they break a cookie by mistake, they'll give you an extra. They bag your mint seperate so it doesn't taint the others. They're always friendly, too. Tip thise kids! Its clever how they have the tips in a big fishbowl full of water so no one can steal them lol.
In the summer they have one called Cherry Bomb, you want that. The chocolate dipped macaroons are crazy good and usually I dont care for macaroons. You can go online and get them delivered, too. I sent gifts to my family for the holidays.“

“Perfectly poached eggs on a bed of arugula was a flavor delight. Everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious for both of our meals including the Guatemalan coffee that was served. I had to ask about the coffee beans, because it was so good.
The entire staff is friendly and very kind, making our visit totally satisfying.
