“Have been here several times for breakfast and lucky for us we almost always get Naomi as our server, although every one is super nice! Naomi is very attentive and will give suggestions if you ask. She’s awesome! Today hubby and I each got the Huevos Rancheros-delicious! Two crispy tortillas with black beans, their yummy ranchero sauce, cheese and two perfect eggs over medium. I never ever finish my breakfast but this was so good I did and finished before the hubby-lol! And the bill was $37.00. I can’t remember the last time I paid this little of an amount for a delicious breakfast for two. They also have daily lunch specials-always good and so reasonable!“

“Stopped into Companion Bakeshop Aptos and had a much-needed experience. The staff were friendly, and the barista who made my flat white did an amazing job — absolutely nailed the espresso pull. The coffee had rich notes of chocolate (my favorite), and the milk froth was smooth, silky, and perfectly balanced.

The pastries looked incredible — and it’s clear why this place is known for them. I wasn’t in the mood for one this time, but I’ll definitely be back to try them out. The space is quaint and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and I loved being able to watch the pastries being made in the back corner of the shop.

If I’m ever in Aptos again, this will be my go-to spot for a morning flat white.“

“I might recommend this place for its pies & pastries, but not their coffee offerings. I guess they don’t get many requests for mochas because what I got was mostly milk with a splash of coffee & zero chocolate. Getting it iced costs another 50¢, which I’ve never seen before. They really don’t promote their coffee beverages, so…. Hopefully your experience will be better.“

“i thought it would be just another bagel shop but this place is actually really good the bagels are fresh and have that perfect chewy texture on the inside. their veggie cream cheese was super flavorful and not too thick or greasy, liked it alot more than I expected. the service was friendly even though they got my order wrong at first but they fixed it pretty quick so no big deal I just wish the coffee was a little stronger kinda tasted watered down. the place is nothing fancy just a basic counter with a few tables but honestly who cares when the food is this solid and the prices are fair. definately worth a stop if youre passing through Artois or need a quick bite thats filling without being expensive.“

“Rosa's tortillas are one of the best tasting tortillas , I enjoy serving to my family, they're very easy to prepare in many Mexican foods, my family's favorite are flautas , also enchiladas , en tostadas, they have the best tasting tortilla which is always the number one best when you're using Rosa's tortillas in watsonville .“

Whenever I'm in town and I want a quick beverage and bite, I'll make a pit stop here. The employees are nice and very helpful, and understand/ speak English. “Stopped in this mall tired in the evening on a long drive, desparately in need of a coffee. I happened to meet the owner Sherri as they were wrapping up for the day. She could have said no, we're closing, we're all out of coffee, but she made me the LAST cup of coffee in the entire mall at any restaurant inside, and dressed up with cream and sugar exactly how I asked. She gave me a free sample of her cookies while waiting, said it will be 2.95 for the coffee. I handed her my credit card and said PLEASE charge me extra for your fantastic service and hospitality, I don't have cash for the tip jar right now, at least charge 7 or 8 bucks if Starbucks wants that much!

“I found Rebecca's muffins at Campbell farmers market. They are so delicious and you can't really tell whether they are sugar free, soy free, gluten free and vegan. My husband ordered the vegan raspberry chocolate cake for my 64th and it's the best I've had in a long time. Kaitlin outdid herself with the decorating as well. As a long time vegan cook and baker, I'm not sure how she manages such a delicious frosting, but it was divine. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Black China Bakery. They were kind, accommodating to my husband's requests and all around a business that deserves our support.“
