Love the choice of cheese for the dawners. And the eggs were perfect. Unfortunately we aren’t locals or we would be back more often. But, we do come back to the area, it’s on our “must go” list.“

“Loft Coffee is the best coffee place. First, Adam is a white chocolate mocha master, he makes the best we've ever had (and we like our white chocolate mochas). It's our Tuesday date and we look forward to seeing him as much as our drinks. He's the nicest, always makes our day! All the staff are friendly.
Second, the whip is to die for.
Third, great music selection and outdoor seating makes for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a coffee on a foggy or sunny day in Aptos. Cheers!“

“actually had a big smile on my face the whole time i was there. the food was so good, i genuinely forgot to take pictures before i started eating. the vibe was cozy and also just really welcoming i knew we made the right call stopping in. cant wait to come back next time im in the area especially for that lavender thing we tried“

“Absolutely delicious! Just as we walked in a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies were placed on the cover, so of course I had to get one with my vanilla latte, egg and cheese bagel and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. All of which are top tier. My friend ordered a few of their cannolis and egg/cheese/bacon croissant. This will remain on my list of favorite delis“

“I might recommend this place for its pies & pastries, but not their coffee offerings. I guess they don’t get many requests for mochas because what I got was mostly milk with a splash of coffee & zero chocolate. Getting it iced costs another 50¢, which I’ve never seen before. They really don’t promote their coffee beverages, so…. Hopefully your experience will be better.“

“Stopped into Companion Bakeshop Aptos and had a much-needed experience. The staff were friendly, and the barista who made my flat white did an amazing job — absolutely nailed the espresso pull. The coffee had rich notes of chocolate (my favorite), and the milk froth was smooth, silky, and perfectly balanced.

The pastries looked incredible — and it’s clear why this place is known for them. I wasn’t in the mood for one this time, but I’ll definitely be back to try them out. The space is quaint and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and I loved being able to watch the pastries being made in the back corner of the shop.

If I’m ever in Aptos again, this will be my go-to spot for a morning flat white.“
