“I don’t understand how an amazing coffee shop can, at there discretion, close there coffee shop at any time they want? Why would u treat loyal customers this way. Sometimes posted in Instagram, sometimes not. So inconsiderate of daily customers. Very disappointing to walk all the way there, excited for my greeting from the staff and my great latte, only to find a note on the door, closed at 11:30? How can u feel good about people showing up and not open and it isn’t even close to 3:00? Confusing to me how everything else but this one issue can be perfect?“

“We ordered the beef panini. The flavor of the meat was amazing and the meat was so tender. The green were nice and fresh, great flavor in the sauce. So far the best panini I have had. The gentleman at the counter serving us was super nice and friendly, the outdoor dining was a plus for me too. I definitely recommend stopping in. I know I will return on my next trip back to California. Thanks for the grat food.“

“This is always my goto coffee shop when in Santa Cruz. The Americano (or any other coffee we get) is always on point. The bagels... Ohhhhh the bagels. You have to try for yourself but they are always fresh and amazing. Go check it out! You will not regret it.“

“Delicious donut. First time trying the cinn flavor. The service was ok, not sure the reason for slamming my donut on the counter. Other than that wierdness, Donut was fresh.
They do accept cards with a .25 fee. No minumum purchase required. Paid $3.25 for the cinnamon cronut donut. I appreciate that as a single purchaser.

“I have been here a few times. There's always a line (because it's popular!) but the service is quick. Even though there are several varied options on the menu, my choice is Americano, which comes by default with four shots of espresso, exactly as I like it. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is adequate seating outside, or just walk and sip.“

“I absolutely despise this place! NOT BECAUSE THE DOZEN GLAZED I GOT WAS BAD.....BUT BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE THIS PLACE BACK EAST AND I WAS RAISED ON DUNKIN DONUTS....I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BEST! THEY LIED TO ME! I HAD NO IDEA SUCH A GLAZED DONUT EXISTED. WHEN I WALKED IN THERE AT 0544 AND SAW THE DONUTS IN THE DISPLAY CASE THE GATES OF HEAVEN OPENED AND THE ANGELS SANG! THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY GENUINELY FRIENDLY NOT THAT SCRIPTED STANDARD FORMALITIES CRAP. 💪🏾🤎🥰“

Okay so I was put onto these coffee beans by the employees over at Auntie Mame's because we had gotten breakfast and I had to know where they got the beans from and I'm so glad I stopped by before I had to end my vacation and head home. I ended up leaving with at least 2 and a half pounds of coffee grounds. As soon as you walk in your hot with the most amazing aroma of coffee beans mixing together. Murphy was there at the store when my girlfriend and I came by and he was happy to talk and tell us all bout the different kinds of beans they had and a little bit about the shop itself. He was such a dope dude to sit and chat with and he really seems passionate about what he does and you can tell he enjoys it. Honestly, I'm glad I met him and I hope more people stop by and try the coffee. I promise you won't be disappointed. I'm excited to get home and try some of the redrood spice coffee I picked up.“

“can’t speak to the food, but I got a yummy hot chocolate. barista was lovely, and I was able to sit at the nearby picnic table with my pup while my windshield was taken care of down the street. there’s a few places to sit, but this is definitely a “grab it and go” location“
“I buy all my coffee beans from Outland Java. The guy who runs the company is extremely nice. The roasts are absolutely terrific. The only downside is that there is no good coffee compared to this, because of that you will only find yourself satisfied by Outland Java. You can buy beans at New Leaf market and they serve it at certain cafe's in Half Moon Bay. Absolutely terrific!“

“I went to this cafe for the first time last week with my doggos and I must say that the Drinkies was so yummy!! I spoke with a intelligent young blonde woman who I later found out was named Elsie! She was so welcoming and friendly and helped explain the menu to me which was really helpful because I was confused by the sandwich. I got the BLT and the Creamy. Lemon Freeze? I would recommend if you are hear but I will probably not come back to Santa Cruz because there were not enough dog friendly beaches. Luckily though, Java junction and Elise were a sanctuary for my fur babies!!! I liked how there were dog treats to go with my sweet treat...“

“I have seen this tiny place and written it off so many times. I was wrong! The kiosk is small but well appointed inside. The baristas are friendly and efficient! After having a watery, bland latte from their parking lot neighbor I decided to give them a try. The latte was smooth yet robust. So, so good. I’ve stopped by a few times on the way to work and been intimidated by the drive through line. The baristas work quickly though! This morning one snuck up on me while I was in my car and took my order before I even got to the window.
Dealing with Downtown can be a hassle so it’s nice to have a midtown location. They have a walk up window and a cute little patio of you want to have your coffee there.“

“Lovely cafe!! The baristas are great at their jobs. My barista, I think their name was Isabel? Was so nice, explained all the unique drinks to me (I settled on a whiskey latte, which has like a whiskey syrup, n/a) and did beautiful foam art. Definitely coming here again!“

Not only they always make my coffee right and their pastries are yummy, more importantly, they’re not trying to rip off tourist or local residents. This place and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and very suitable for people that work from home.“
