tasty coffee, great ambiance, friendly staff and easy to find location 🙃
Open early Sunday morning was the first plus. The place is clean and has some cool decor to check out while waiting for your order. Today I order a double espresso with honey, a peach hot tea, and a turkey sausage breakfast burrito….all was tasty and hot. A cool community spot with the old timers on the patio talking about classic cars, the vibes from the staff were chill, and everyone seemed to know each other. Legit cafe in SC.
My ABSOLUTE Favorite Coffee shop in town!!! Excellent service, AMAZING coffee and coffee bar, delicious food and pastries!!! Grab a coffee in their ceramic cups, sit down, and relax!! Wonderful atmosphere, great music, and the bank vault is just a cool icing on the cake!!! Bring the kids and they'll love the bank vault door!!! LOVE COFFEETOPIA!!!!!!

Coffeetopia is a cozy cafe with a unique atmosphere, offering an in-house syrup selection and a vast range of loose-leaf teas from Silk Road Teas. Known as a local favorite, it provides a serene and friendly spot to relax and enjoy a cup of Santa Cruz coffee while reading a book. The cafe serves a variety of drinks, including ice lattes and iced Mexican mochas, which are made with care and served quickly, even during busy hours. The small but charming interior features indoor seating in the vault, a smaller room, and the main area, along with outdoor seating. It is a great place to hang out, unwind, and take in the views, especially after grabbing a coffee before a walk along West Cliff to watch the surfers. The cafe also offers great breakfast burritos, pastries, and a delicious Matcha. With two locations—one on Portola and another on Capitola—it stands out for its friendly staff and high-quality, non-corporate coffee. The Macchiato is well-done, though served in an oversize cup, and the vegan sustainable cookies are both attractive and tasty.
