“I enjoy coming here for many reasons. They have sprouts! Their bagle with Hummus, sprouts & tomato is delicious, they remember my order & name when I walk in (who doesn't enjoy feeling special), all the employees are just great. Customer service reigns supreme here. Add great food. Equals = happy customer....me.“

“I absolutely despise this place! NOT BECAUSE THE DOZEN GLAZED I GOT WAS BAD.....BUT BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE THIS PLACE BACK EAST AND I WAS RAISED ON DUNKIN DONUTS....I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BEST! THEY LIED TO ME! I HAD NO IDEA SUCH A GLAZED DONUT EXISTED. WHEN I WALKED IN THERE AT 0544 AND SAW THE DONUTS IN THE DISPLAY CASE THE GATES OF HEAVEN OPENED AND THE ANGELS SANG! THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY GENUINELY FRIENDLY NOT THAT SCRIPTED STANDARD FORMALITIES CRAP. 💪🏾🤎🥰“

“This is always my goto coffee shop when in Santa Cruz. The Americano (or any other coffee we get) is always on point. The bagels... Ohhhhh the bagels. You have to try for yourself but they are always fresh and amazing. Go check it out! You will not regret it.“
“Lovely cafe!! The baristas are great at their jobs. My barista, I think their name was Isabel? Was so nice, explained all the unique drinks to me (I settled on a whiskey latte, which has like a whiskey syrup, n/a) and did beautiful foam art. Definitely coming here again!“

“Very happy we tried this place. Friendly staff and great service. A good bagel lox/gravlax/smoked salmon and cream cheese combo is one of my favorite breakfast foods and La Marea did not disappoint with the Scandi. One of the best I’ve had. The crunch of the sourdough bagel (with caraway dill) really brought it home. The pistachio latte was a perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet like you get at a ⭐🦌. I may need to grab a slice of their pizza before we head out.“

“5 Stars to the super nice cashier tho remembered my name only going there once!!! I felt bad that I forgot to give my name then heard it called O: Really impressive customer service kills that has NEVER happened to me before. The team here is kind and can handle a high volume amount of people. This is my fav bagle shop in town and def the most tasty & best value.

“Love this place! We visited from the east coast and I'm highly impressed. They had quite the variety of bagels - my favorite was the pesto cheese. The eggs were cooked to perfection in the sandwich I got. Service was super fast and people were nice.“

“I have been coming here for close to 16 years. So long that they know me and my family's order. They Def have peak busy times where they are frantically trying to fulfill in person orders and door dash with just a couple of them working but I cut them slack. Thanks again for years of good service“

“Fabulous donuts. There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. My wife and I have passed this shop many times and never went in until today and we have been missing out! The interior is a fun retro feel with a down to earth atmosphere. Vicky was so incredibly nice and made the experience. We will be coming back soon!“

“Came to Ferrell's twice for breakfast sandwiches during a recent stay at the Four Points Sheraton just a 3 minute walk away. - It's a tiny little place that felt like a throwback to a bygone era. Simple, cute, clean, and charming. Had good service from the same nice gentleman both times I was there. If you're looking for some simple morning fare while staying nearby, I would definitely recommend you check out this Ferrell's location.“

“The consistent line out the door should be your hint that this spot is a must if you're in need of a grab and go breakfast. Sure, Zachary's is fantastic, but waiting for a seat and having a full sit down meal isn't always an option if you want to get to the monthly vintage fair before the crowds. Grab your bagel melt to-go and eat as you walk. Or, my personal favorite- the lox deluxe, but be sure to sub their house made pickled onions and grab a Natalie's Orchard juice to go with it.“
