“They have salt bagels, which have been increasingly hard to find lately.

A double lox salt bagel from time to time is my splurge breakfast. I've always gotten my order correct.

Bottled sodas are way expensive and they don't offer Mexican Coke. A small counter is all I have for interior seating. Maybe four customers at best. Those are the reasons for my one star deduction.“

“I'm so glad to have found this spot in the South Bay. The bagels are charmingly unsymmetrical and have a great chew and nice exterior. For those who like whole wheat bagels and toppings, the sesame wheat bagel is a fantastic option, though I also loved the pumpernickel/rye combo--took some of each to go for later in the week. This time (my second visit in 2 weeks) I had a bagel sandwich with omelette - #19 with avocado and all kinds of vegetable goodies, plus egg & cheese. Yum! I've had NY city bagels freshly made and while these aren't those, I can be happy eating these now. Love that it's not a chain. It's also great to see they're busy. I hope they keep up the great work.“

“Reached House of Bagels around 10 AM on a weekend, and there was already a huge line outside the door—which definitely raised my expectations. Even though the line was long, it moved at a surprisingly good pace, and we were able to place our order in about 20 minutes.

We ordered:

* Two sausage, egg & cheese jalapeño bagel sandwiches
* One with tomato basil cream cheese
* One with jalapeño cream cheese
* A Double Dutch Mocha
* And a chai tea

The service was impressively fast because we got our entire order in less than 5 minutes.

They have a few outdoor tables, but since it was drizzling, we decided to take the food home instead.

The bagels themselves were soft, fresh, and nicely made. I personally wished the jalapeño bagel had a bit more jalapeño flavor compared to similar bagels I’ve had elsewhere, but overall the sandwich was very satisfying. The sausage, egg, and bagel ratio was spot on, making every bite balanced and filling.

The tomato basil cream cheese was absolutely delicious and added great flavor to the sandwich. The jalapeño cream cheese, however, was a bit disappointing and lacked the kick I expected.

Special mention for the Double Dutch Mocha—easily a 100/10. Rich, smooth, and honestly one of the best drinks from the meal. On the other hand, the chai tea was disappointing and tasted more like warm milk with a little cinnamon rather than actual chai.

Overall, it was still a really good experience, and I’d definitely go back to try more items from their menu.“

“As you walk into City Bagels, you’re hit by the delicious scent of warm bagels and baked goods. It permeates the air and makes you hungry. This family owned bagel shop is the kind of place that I am glad to spend my money.

Their drinks were not much to write home about - they were in boba cups. I had an iced chai which was a little watery(?) and was okay. The real stand out is the bagels. They have many flavors (I recommend Jalapeno Cheddar, which was a nice kick throughout the bagel). The ham and cheese bagel sandwich is very clean to eat on the go and tasty.

The lines are a little long and they seemed to get other peoples’ orders wrong, but for me it was a great experience!“

“So yummy and fresh! We love the cinnamon crunch bagel! It must be popular because they often run out. But no worry, we plan ahead now and wait for them to make them fresh for us! They often throw in an extra for the wait! Yesterday, I tried the “Veggie Avocado” bagel sandwich... omg so good!!“

“2 out of 3 times my bagel was toasted just right (one time was burned). Those are pretty good odds. If you get there early, the bagels are still warm from being freshly made and are even more delicious. They are generous with the schmear, which is nice compared to other places that are stingy with it. There is a cozy dining area, which is just right for eating my bagel while still waking up.“

“I moved to Santa Clara about 5 years ago and this is the ONLY bagel shop we ever go to!! The food is fantastic, always fresh ingredients and delicious bagels. The staff is always so friendly, nice, and helpful.

But my favorite thing on the entire menu is the Vietnamese Iced Coffee!!! This is a little known hidden gem, but Cramer's Bagels proudly offers the most delicious iced coffee available on the entire planet. I simply do not go to Starbucks anymore. The flavor and energy is unmatched!

Basically if there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would give it. You won't be disappointed!“

“When you need a good hearty breakfast to power through your day, it's hard to beat a delicious breakfast bagel. I try to come here at least a couple times a month. They make bagels the right way - boiled and baked. This is one of those places where the staff is busy, but still always has a friendly smile. They wouldn't be busy if people didn't love the food, right? They also have Peerless coffee which is always hot and fresh. They have just about any kind of bagel flavor you could ask for, and many ways to make you a breakfast bagel.“
