Not sure how I feel about Santa Cruz as a town, but Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting is definitely worth a stop!
The dark roast was excellent with amazing flavor, the staff were really friendly
And there’s no fancy-schmancy stuff, just really good coffee
They have the best pour over coffee in Santa Cruz! Highly recommend. Also, they have very beautiful art that is sold and replaced regularly, so the decor changes all the time. It makes it feel fresh and new. It’s also connected to a small alleyway, so it sort of feels like a secret passage. The reason I put 4 stars for atmosphere is mainly due to the flies that tend to gather at the entrance, but truly they aren’t a bother. Otherwise, 10/10 experience.
