“Fabulous donuts. There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. My wife and I have passed this shop many times and never went in until today and we have been missing out! The interior is a fun retro feel with a down to earth atmosphere. Vicky was so incredibly nice and made the experience. We will be coming back soon!“

“Delicious array of sandwiches and doughnuts. And the service is phenomenal! We called in a large order of (15) sandwiches, as well as doughnuts and coffee for an event we were hosting. We gave them a few days notice and asked to pick up the order at 6:45 AM. (Note that it is very difficult to get breakfast for a group that early in Santa Cruz county). Everything was ready when I got there, the staff was super accommodating and friendly, and they were still able to deal with the throngs of people coming in while helping me with my order. They greeted many of the people walking through the door by name and even knew what they were going to order before they could say it. You can tell this is a staple establishment in the neighborhood. And a fantastic little family-owned business. It will be my choice for early morning breakfasts going forward!“

“Great service and so friendly. I forgot it was cash only and I don't always carry cash. They were going to give me my three doughnuts before I noticed the ATM in the corner. WOW, what a community treasure. The doughnuts are excellent also.“

“First time here. Been wanting to stop by, We were surprised to see that it was busy. Arrived 20mins before they close, you place your order on the self serve touchscreen. Staff make your order pretty quickly. They have alot of options for your order. We have to return and try something different. Soo many options. The slushie was really good.“

“Good donuts, great sandwiches! Couldn't decide on chicken pesto or bbq Tri tip, soooo got both and just one word, BOMB! The lady was very nice and quick to serve. Sat down and saw the fish tank in the quiet, calm room while waiting. Next time we will be sitting down to eat great sandwiches.“

“On a vacation in California and was looking for some donuts before hitting the road. I have to say, these donuts were AMAZING, the dough *especially*. I’m from New York, so we have a lot of amazing bakeries, especially Italian bakeries that serve donuts here, but I don’t think I’ve ever had to dough on a donut as good as I did just now today. Now, there is a bit of a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish, but the food and kindness of the owners more than makes up for that, although I would recommend coming prepared to translate into Spanish if you have a more specific order.I ordered two donuts and the owner threw two donut holes in with each as an added bonus. Insanely nice people and a very chill vibe. I could not recommend Donut King more. Amazing stuff.“
