“On a vacation in California and was looking for some donuts before hitting the road. I have to say, these donuts were AMAZING, the dough *especially*. I’m from New York, so we have a lot of amazing bakeries, especially Italian bakeries that serve donuts here, but I don’t think I’ve ever had to dough on a donut as good as I did just now today. Now, there is a bit of a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish, but the food and kindness of the owners more than makes up for that, although I would recommend coming prepared to translate into Spanish if you have a more specific order.I ordered two donuts and the owner threw two donut holes in with each as an added bonus. Insanely nice people and a very chill vibe. I could not recommend Donut King more. Amazing stuff.“
“First time here. Been wanting to stop by, We were surprised to see that it was busy. Arrived 20mins before they close, you place your order on the self serve touchscreen. Staff make your order pretty quickly. They have alot of options for your order. We have to return and try something different. Soo many options. The slushie was really good.“
“Top Donuts? More like top bagels! Don't get me wrong, the donuts are great, but as an avid bagel lover, it's very difficult to find an excellent bagel in Santa Cruz County. I've tried probably almost every shop that sells bagels, and this one is it. They're soft and thick but not a thickness that's too chewy with a perfectly toasted exterior, and a taste of heaven with each bite. On top of that, the owners are just very sweet.“

“Another high School used to go here everyday right outside by the parking lot or is this great big huge edge would go in there we called it the whole the big old hole in the head we would go inside and smoke pot till we were stupid then we go back inside the Winchell's and scarf out on donuts and drink coffee all day hahaha oh it was great haha I'll never forget.“
