The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.“

The bagel tasted like it was freshly made. It was soft and airy and nicely toasted. Very delicious! It's definitely worth the wait. Love to support local cafes. This one is in a quiet part of town by the bus station, and there's a library across the street. Not too much car traffic on a Monday morning.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. “This is by far a must go-to boba shop when you're in the Santa Cruz Mountains... because though they may not be as good as you ought them to be, this one hits the spot with the different teas they brew and the different adjustments they put in terms of sugar and ice. I usually get the passion fruit green tea with boba and less ice and sweetness and it never fails to meet my expectations!8.3/10 because it could have done better in terms of using more natural ingredients but 5 stars on here because they're doing a phenomenal job at what resources they have around them already xD“

We both sat outside in the sun on a beautiful day and just took in the planets while we nibbled on our breakfast. I couldn’t believe how much seating this cafe has! “For vegan and fermented food lovers, this should be top of your list. The owner Katie is so on point with all of her recipes and the concept, it's truly a gem. Katie has always been super accommodating and we love to come in with our dogs And visit. The mushroom lattes are really strong with their adaptogenic benefits, I recommend to drink them slowly, if ordered! The cinnamon roll snail is one of the best things I've ever tasted, and Katie's version of a spring roll, the nomsters, just wowww. Their menu is super seasonal and always dynamic and changing. Another dish to call out is the pesto pasta, even the pasta is made from wheat grown organically and locally. Really just an amazing and tasty and comforting dish. There is one employee that sometimes seems like she is bored or, tired of her job or whatever, but I won't knock a star off because Katie is amazing and probably doesn't even know about this employee's attitude. This is a 10/10 establishment. Café is also just cutely decorated and truly just so comfortable and yellow and sunny and bright, makes me happy to walk in the door.“

Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! I remind them I have celiac and they do a great job :)Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. You can ask for accommodations too (ie no cheese, or add cabbage)“

Food came out quick enough for the 5 of us. All were happy and full. The live plants arranged seeing the restaurant were a nice touch. “This was an excellent little cafe. My husband and I were in town for a mini getaway and wanted to find a nice place for breakfast. I am vegetarian and always look on Yelp for places that have vegetarian options. This place was great, both with the quality of the food and with the excellent service we received from our waitress. She was very friendly and hospitable; she kept my coffee cup full. I don't remember the name of the dish, but it was a large portion of their country potatoes topped with lots of fresh sauteed veggies and a little melted cheese; I had sourdough toast as well. It was THE BEST breakfast dish I have ever had in a restaurant; the ingredients were so fresh and not overly cooked at all. My husband had a wonderful plate of food as well (although he declined to have his food photographed); it was a combination plate with one waffle, eggs over medium and sausage - I don't remember if he had potatoes or toast (he should have let me take a photo ;) ). If we are ever back in the area we will definitely come back to Sunrise Cafe. :)“

We've been in Ben Lomond over 7 years now, and used to occasionally come here until Mo took over (last year?) and since then, my little family of three comes here at least once a week! The food is so much more amazing now! I love their iced coffee and my usual breakfast is a bacon, egg & cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel that I split with my son. My husband has had a variety of breakfast options here as well as many of the pastries/donuts, and they are always good. Service is super friendly, the patrons who come here are always lovely and sometimes very chatty (in a wonderful, mountain community way). It's a great weekend ritual getting to stop by here. “Scopazzi's is the best. The staff is always great, the food is always great, and the atmosphere is one of the best the county has to offer, maybe the best, in fact. If you are coming from far away, it's worth it. Make the drive, have an amazing dinner or brunch or whatever you are in time for. Take your time, and enjoy the place.I'm going to take a moment for a criticism though, so you all don't think I'm just some kind of shill... Don't order the sausage with the Fettuccine Alfredo. The sausage is tasty, but you will pay $5 for literally six tiny pieces of sausage. You will think to yourself... What kind of sausage costs $1 per quarter inch? You will be pretty upset.Okay, that aside, everything is great. Thursday only for Lasagna, and I think Saturday only for the prime rib. Both are great. If you aren't there on either of those nights, the lamb is fantastic.Final warning: this is not a cheap restaurant. For most of us, it's a place for anniversaries, prom dates, and marriage proposals. Still, it's worth it. If you are looking for someplace really special, and have saved up a few coins for that, you will get what you pay for here and have an evening to remember.Kid-friendliness: We have gone there with a toddler, and they found us a quiet space away from the other diners. They did everything they could to accommodate us, but we're also rightly and justly sensitive to the other diners. They couldn't have done better with a difficult situation. I think they even made him something completely off the menu, just for his tiny picky toddler self.“
