They offer a small variety of baked goods to enjoy.The store is very clean with three tables to sit and relax in the chill atmosphere. “Very cute little coffee spot at the “end of downtown.” I got the raspberry chocolate latte (iced) and my friend got the honey lavender I believe. We both sat outside in the sun on a beautiful day and just took in the planets while we nibbled on our breakfast. I couldn’t believe how much seating this cafe has! It needs it for sure because it was slammed on a Tuesday.I had the cherry bourbon scone and the texture was perfect it just wasn’t the flavor for me. My friend inhaled their goat cheese galette.“
“Excellent! Decided to take my family of 4 for Easter Brunch today. Corn beef & hash with scrambled eggs were delicious. I had the guevos rancheros, which was cooked perfectly. Denver omlette was amazing. Friendly staff, food came quick & the wait wasn't too long even during a busy brunch rush. Outdoor seating is nice & the chairs are made for your tush. Very comfortable! “I had an iced mocha to drink. It tasted great! To eat, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was excellent, and so were the biscuits. The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.“

Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! I remind them I have celiac and they do a great job :)Dietary restrictions: Options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. You can ask for accommodations too (ie no cheese, or add cabbage)“
“Came in on a Wednesday morning during Spring break. They were busy and a minor wait as they were busy. Staff was attentive, but not rushing us. The banana walnut French toast was just what I needed. Food came out quick enough for the 5 of us. All were happy and full. The live plants arranged seeing the restaurant were a nice touch. Bathrooms are single occupancy, but the are 2 and they were clean, always a plus for me to know they keep things clean. If the bathroom is clean the kitchen is likely as well. “Had flowers delivered to my mother in law and she was blown away by the arrangement delivered. I'm not local to Santa Cruz so I was really trusting the images on the website when I chose this shop. Her excitement about the arrangement was worth every penny. Thank you Flower Bar for making such a great arrangement and delivering it to my hard working mother in law. She deserves the recognition and I couldn't have done it without Flower Bar! 10/10 would recommend.“
“Had to wait a little. But I was in no rush. I got the mile high bagel sandwich, blueberry muffin, and latte. Everything was delicious. The sandwich looks small, but it was super filling. The bagel tasted like it was freshly made. It was soft and airy and nicely toasted. Very delicious! It's definitely worth the wait. Love to support local cafes. This one is in a quiet part of town by the bus station, and there's a library across the street. Not too much car traffic on a Monday morning.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. The wait time felt extremely long upwards of 30 mins to receive a sandwich. We got the biscuit breakfast sandwich though tasty it was incredible small and and lacking in substance for that price. The pastry options are wonderful with a variety of options that are ever changing.“
“This was an excellent little cafe. My husband and I were in town for a mini getaway and wanted to find a nice place for breakfast. I am vegetarian and always look on Yelp for places that have vegetarian options. This place was great, both with the quality of the food and with the excellent service we received from our waitress. She was very friendly and hospitable; she kept my coffee cup full. I don't remember the name of the dish, but it was a large portion of their country potatoes topped with lots of fresh sauteed veggies and a little melted cheese; I had sourdough toast as well. It was THE BEST breakfast dish I have ever had in a restaurant; the ingredients were so fresh and not overly cooked at all. My husband had a wonderful plate of food as well (although he declined to have his food photographed); it was a combination plate with one waffle, eggs over medium and sausage - I don't remember if he had potatoes or toast (he should have let me take a photo ;) ). If we are ever back in the area we will definitely come back to Sunrise Cafe. :)“
“Love our local coffee shop! We've been in Ben Lomond over 7 years now, and used to occasionally come here until Mo took over (last year?) and since then, my little family of three comes here at least once a week! The food is so much more amazing now! I love their iced coffee and my usual breakfast is a bacon, egg & cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel that I split with my son. My husband has had a variety of breakfast options here as well as many of the pastries/donuts, and they are always good. Service is super friendly, the patrons who come here are always lovely and sometimes very chatty (in a wonderful, mountain community way). It's a great weekend ritual getting to stop by here. Such a gem to have 5 min from us!“

“What a lovely deli! The sandwiches were great! We hada real variety: bacon for 1, pastrami for another, vegetarian caprese for a third, and I had Italian meatball. A variety of pasta salads, too! The staff kindly set up the outdoor seating for us, cleaning the tables and drying chairs-- and Mother Nature obliged with some warm March sunshine! Lovely place to enjoy with friends! ❤“

Just know that typical peak days/times, it might be hard to get a parking spot but they have overflow parking at Cabrillo. Online pre-orders can help speed things up. There's also a cute gift shop within the bakery cafe. Great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or coffee hangout. The Farm is famous for their fruit tarts (amazing crust).“
“This is by far a must go-to boba shop when you're in the Santa Cruz Mountains... because though they may not be as good as you ought them to be, this one hits the spot with the different teas they brew and the different adjustments they put in terms of sugar and ice. I usually get the passion fruit green tea with boba and less ice and sweetness and it never fails to meet my expectations!8.3/10 because it could have done better in terms of using more natural ingredients but 5 stars on here because they're doing a phenomenal job at what resources they have around them already xD“

“we got the BLA sandwich and matcha latte! the sandwich was super good with bacon lettuce avocado, and it also came with a side of chips. the matcha latte was really good too, it was not too sweet and easy to drink, but you can always add honey or sugar if you prefer it sweeter! there's A LOT of options to choose from so it's definitely a place worth trying! the price is also quite affordable and the food itself isn't too big so you won't get too full! I even heard that they have pupcup or some sort of drink for dog, which is super cool! the service was great, the lady working there was really sweet and it was such a cozy cafe :)“

“I love the acaì at this place. It’s the best in the area. I like all their options. The fruit is very fresh. The menu is very poorly organized so it’s kind of confusing to figure out at first. The service is pretty slow but I appreciate that they take their time. I disappointed that their prices have gotten so high. When I first starting coming a large was $10 and now it’s $18. It makes it so I can only come as a special treat instead of as a meal out option. I know times are hard for many businesses and prices are going up all over but it’s really too much for me.“
