Brookdale Cafe offers delicious food with really big servings and decent portions, at average not inflated prices. The menu includes breakfast all day, with highlights like the chicken fried steak dinner, chorizo and onion scramble, French toast, pancakes (regular and blueberry), and a classic burger & fries. The food is full of flavor, light & fluffy, and served warm. The cafe has a fun 50's diner vibe and lots of comfortable seating, with a lovely setting for breakfast under the Redwoods. Guests can eat outside on the patio for great views. The service is fantastic with friendly, attentive, and prompt staff who stay on top of coffee refills. Some orders have not always been correct due to a language barrier, but the staff are usually really friendly and accommodating. It is a fun place to hang out, especially for those staying at the lodge.
