“Everything I had there was top notch, so much so I was fighting a food coma the rest of the night. Hands down the best place in Scott's valley for BBQ! Large portions at a fair price and wait staff that almost read my mind on what I was thinking about ordering. And there's a pool table upstairs. What more could you ask for in a BBQ joint?“

“Kitchen staff leaves PROMPTLY at 10pm so dont expect any food or dessert after 10. Additionally, the internet states the establishment closes at 11pm. Although the staff (they told us) has been told repeatedly that the closing time is incorrect, no one has bothered to correct it. Wait staff is lackadaisical. They did not communicate last call on cocktails or offer dessert prior to kitchen close.“

Paired with their house cut fries (be sure to specify the vegan option), it makes for a satisfying meal that doesn't feel like soulless fast food. It's not the cheapest option around, but we'll be back as the food was respectably hot and fresh as-ordered. Be careful not to get there when the parking lot is at capacity though -- it's like a knife fight as folks try to turn around or otherwise sit idle waiting for spaces to clear.“

“My friend and I had breakfast at Evarits’s Comal this morning and it was FABULOUS! My veggie eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, with one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve ever tasted. The fruit accompaniment was delicious and fresh. Service was on point. I even got serenaded and served a yummy dessert when they found out it was my birthday. I wholly recommend this excellent restaurant!“

“At Walnut avenue you can "Go vegan" by subbing the scrambled eggs with scrambled tofu, and they are so good! I had a pesto scramble with tomates, a bagel and a cup of fruit. Walnut Avenue cafe is my favorite breakfast place in Santa Cruz! The food is delicious, the seating is comfortable, and the staff is very nice!“

“Visiting SC from Michigan and came across Suda. Glad we did. Looked like it had a good vibe from the outside so we went in and sat at the bar where we had drinks. What fun! The bartender, Max, was slammed but never stopped smiling. We had fun watching him and talking with him. He knows his drinks! So much fun we came back for dinner another night. Max came over to our table to welcome us back! The drinks and food were really good! We’ll definitely be back next visit to SC. Hopefully, Max, will be there too!“

“Every time I go, spot in with the food. This is what I look for in a restaurant. Think out of the box menu with consistency every time I go with every item I order. I keep working down the menu to try everything. They obviously make their own sauce, the ranch, super bomb diggity. Fries, onion rings, salad all fresh and crisp. Mac and Gouda cheese bites, Yes! Chop cheese, you gotta have one of these! Mushroom cap “burger “ something you will crave, Parish pie, goodness wrapped up in one dish. Salmon fish & chips, fantastic. And I forgot to mention beer, beer, beer, they also have beer and mixed drinks. There is always specials on the screens. Last time I noticed something about tenderloin and bacon …… can’t wait to go back and find out!“
