The Crêpe Place offers good food and a unique atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors. The old building has a funky charm with back and front dining areas, and a large, lovely patio that is intimate and peaceful. The garden seating area is surrounded by beautiful plants, making it a nice spot to dine. The bar selection is extensive, featuring the best cocktails in town. The restaurant also has excellent standards of hospitality and hosts a very active live music program. It can become very crowded when there's music, but the friendly and efficient staff manage quick service through the dancing crowd on those nights. The gluten-free options, including crepes and English muffins, are a highlight, and the food is stellar, with a pesto-veggie sandwich that checks all the boxes. The location offers tons of parking nearby, making it a convenient choice for brunch, day drinking, or an evening experience in Santa Cruz.
