“The REAL TESTAMENT to the excellence of the venue, service and quality of the food was the fact that while Hero Ranch is LITERALLY SURROUNDED on all sides by restaurants, yet there was a large crowd of weeknight diners gathered prior to opening time in front of Hero Ranch, while there were few if any customers inside or outside the other restaurants on the street. The service was efficient, friendly and excellent, the food was served hot, cooked fresh and superior to most other meals I've ever had.“

“I cannot say enough about this restaurant! GOGA is the place to go for fresh, healthy, delicious food! Definitely Saratoga’s hidden gem! It is behind the UPS building with plenty of parking. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating & Chef Brads presentation & deliciousness of his fabulous meals is always 5 stars! “bell tower cafe has an old school vibe with decent food. the wait staff is friendly and the food arrived to the table quickly. I had pancakes as part of my order and I wish they had a glass container for the syrup... instead I was given a small single serving plastic container. I also was turned off by the extremely cheap silverware.. it was one step up from plastic... amazing how little details can give you such a strong impression about a place. If I had to choose between the bell tower cafe or holders country inn (the one in Saratoga), I would choose holders... simply for the less cheap feeling it brings.“

Owner says SCU students got too rowdy with alcohol and causing trouble, so it’s not worth it to serve alcohol anymore. Thank the kids for ruining it for everyone.“

“What a great find on the last day of our trip to California. The space was beautiful, the staff was great and the food was delicious! The chicken was delicious and filling and fresh. The Cioppino was fabulous!!! The garlic bread that came with it was delicious. I had a green salad to start and it too was excellent. Great glass of Zinfandel. And the flourless almond cake with pineapple and vanilla gelato also delicious. They focus on fresh, quality ingredients. Well done!“

We got the shrimp and grits, chilaquiles, and truffle fries.
I like how the shrimp and grits has peas and greens to break up the heartiness. It's not too salty.

Chilaquiles portion is quite large! They use ground sausage so it's almost like a sauce.

Truffle fries was ok. I think it could use a bit more salt. And the truffle drizzle can be more generous as not every fry was covered.

We don't drink alcohol so we didn't try the espresso martini, but it looks delicious!“
