I looked for about a year for a go-to lunch place for sandwiches in Santa Clara, until I found Hungry Hound. Hungry Hound is an unpretentious simple restaurant with good solid sandwiches at a lower price than the alternatives.The turkey avocado is great and there's plenty of items on the menu to keep coming back to try. There's nothing very fancy about the place, but it solidly delivers for a satisfying lunch and the woman who works the counter everyday is nice.
