“Creatively ambitious and high level cuisine, using Korean flavors and spices to add interest and individuality to California ingredients. Example: wagyu tartare with uni aioli, among other things, that was rich and fresh and unexpected, all at the same time. Clever attention to textures and variety of textures within each course. A reasonably priced tasting menu or, at four courses, you could call it a prix fixe. Limited but good wine selection, seemingly carefully curated. Very cool ambiance inside and friendly, graceful service.“

“The chicken salads here are huge, with a surprisingly generous portion of meat. I've eaten a lot of chicken salads at other counter service places in the area, and The Stand puts them all to shame. The dressing seemed like it was made fresh, not from a bottle. Will come back to try something else.“

“No pictures of the meal because it was just THAT GOOD. Tables back up to the parking lot so it's a little crowded but the coffee and the food are so incredible that I don't care. Absolutely fantastic and I feel like I haven't had breakfast as good as that in a while. Had the morning burger, Southside style croissant, and a side of tater tots. My partner and I split each and it was the perfect amount, everything was cooked perfectly and the fries and tots were crispy. I'll be dreaming of this food for weeks to come and I am so sad that I am not from the area and can't eat here every weekend.“

“Been coming here since grad school in the early 2000s. Still good food after all these years. The nice owners work so hard to make delicious food. Too bad they no longer serve beer. Owner says SCU students got too rowdy with alcohol and causing trouble, so it’s not worth it to serve alcohol anymore. Thank the kids for ruining it for everyone.“

“I had a good experience here. I paid 60 for a steak but I definitely recommend the upgrade to the 90 dollar ribeye. The soup was delicious and so was the bread . The potatoes and spinach that come with the meal are 10/10. I’ve been to many steak houses and this is the first time that not only were the sides free they came in abundance :)“

“Manager got us seated immediately and knew we were attending a concert at Levi’s Stadium, server was quick and attentive, food came out quick and was very good. Definitely will be back to eat before my next concert and upcoming Niner Games!!!“

“We were a party of 6, asked for 3 individual checks, when the bill came it appeared each receipt had a 3% charge. At the bottom of bill standard wording 18% service charge will be added to parties of 8 or more. We were on a time schedule and did not question. I feel they over charged on this issue. Food order was pretty good for all, however 2 halibut orders were overcooked. We are not from the local area, will try somewhere else next time in town.“

“I don't normally make reviews about shopping centers, but this one is very nice and aesthetic one to go to. To be honest, I've never been in a shopping center that looks as ambient compared to average ones I go to.

Yes it's not really a big place, but it's built nice and clean at the same time. Probably most people who work around here come here for lunch. It would have been better if there are bigger building while using the same materials as well as a bigger shopping center, but this is fine.“
