Recent (a couple years?) ownership change resulted in some good upgrades to facility and menu. And now every time I order something that needs preparation, after waiting a few minutes the chef himself serves it to me. Nice touch! It was crowded and the seating was full except one giant table but it was impossible to get to the unused seats at this giant table, because of the way the other seats blocked it. Also, I was nearly done with my sandwich but the time my drink arrived. But it was so yummy and the service for the food was so quick it still doesn't lose a star.”

“My friend and I went on Sunday evening for a ladies' day. This place was beautiful; seating inside/outside as well as bar seating. The menu is small but delicious, and the service was fantastic. Although it was busy, the owner came by our table often and gave little complimentary bites off the menu, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and made fantastic recommendations. Also, I was kind enough to ask about allergies/food restrictions prior to making recommendations. It was like a piece of Italy there. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.”

“Super nice little pizza place after a long road trip. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was outstanding! I really enjoyed the special pizza with squash and a white sauce. I wish there was more than one pasta option, though. The patio is dog very dog friendly, and was nice except for the fact that the table was a little wobbly.

“I love Pana!! It’s a hidden gem of the Central Coast. Serving up amazing Venezuelan food, the arepas are so good! If you’ve never tried an arepa you are missing out… I recommend the Reina Pepiada (shredded chicken, avocados, and mayo) or El Tiburon (shrimp, mozzarella, avocado) and of course an order of delicious fried plantains! I discovered the Pana Food Truck at the CSUMB campus (they are most often in Santa Cruz) and I was pleased to find that they have a location at the SAP Center in San Jose. Highly Recommend!”
