The 5 stars is only for the dutch crunch bread in the Matt Cain sandwich. The hard top gives the sandwich more substance than the bread from Subway. The Ike's bread also helps to satisfy hunger better than the Lee's Sandwich bread. The Matt Cain sandwich tastes a lot better when eaten rightside-up, unlike the pizza at Mountain Mike's which tastes better when you flip the slice upside down. I will stop typing now because the Yelp app keeps locking up and freezing my screen. . .
Aches is without a doubt, one of the highest quality sandwich chains that I know of. Emmanuel items are quite unique and creative, and I've never had a sandwich combination here that I didn't like. In particular, one of my favorites is the eggplant sandwich, which tastes like you're eating, eggplant, Parmesan Between bread. What could be better? The sandwiches are really good and filling so I sometimes stop by for lunch. Today, I ordered We're Just Friends and noticed that it didn't have any chicken in it. Honestly, I thought it was pretty funny, but would it be possible to get a refund? I'm a reasonable person and I know mistakes are inevitable. So, I would still come back here but was a little bit disappointed when I paid $17 (including tip) for lettuce and avocado haha
