“Today, my wife calls me to tell me she had something special for dinner. That’s code to stop at Costco for a hotdog before I get home. But, no, I chose to go home and my gut feeling told me don’t be an idiot you fool.

I decided to stop at Ricky’s Grill BBQ and Catering in Morgan Hill on Tennant. I have driven by it many times, but have never stopped because I’ve been historically hesitant about food trucks. Ricky's has completely changed my perspective. I am glad I stopped, not because my wife made a tuna pasta dish, but because the food is good.

I ordered two carne asada tacos, and they were outstanding. The corn tortillas tasted handmade, and the steak was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. It was way better than the tuna pasta waiting for me. The portions were also generous; they were larger than your average street taco, making them very filling.

The outdoor dining area is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of bench seating and easy parking. I even noticed the staff proactively cleaning the condiment station between customers. I’m already looking forward to returning to taste the consistency in the tacos and try the tri-tip sandwich. If you're in Morgan Hill, this spot is definitely worth the visit.“

“We have used the Kneaded team twice in the last year and both times they have blown away our expectations. The first event was in the Fall for a private reception at the home of a board member for our Agency. We had around 50 guests which included past CEO's, VIP's and philanthropists. The event was held outdoors in the backyard. Working with the team at Kneaded, we built a menu, dialed in logistics, and an event timeline. The Kneaded team arrived early, brought extra linens (which we didn't think we would need but absolutely did), and started setting up. The team created an amazing layout of food for the buffet portion and members walked through the event with passed appetizers. They were consummate professionals in the way they communicated with our event lead, offering bites to guests and presentation. At the end of the event they made sure that the space was exactly as they found it when they arrived and even boxed up the extra food for guests to take home. The second event was a large gathering to thank our CEO as he transitioned into retirement. We booked a large event space in San Jose and planned on having 200 guests. The Kneaded Academy drove up a few days before hand, toured the space, planned a layout to ensure the event would go smoothly. Over the preceding six weeks they worked with us to build a menu and asked all the right questions for things we hadn't thought of. Day of the event, they arrived extra early to setup, put together their food displays, and were ready to go well before our first guest arrived. Again, we had both a buffet display as well as passed appetizers and they were fantastic. Many of our guests were asking for the contact information for Kneaded. The team at Kneaded Academy is a pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to working with them for our next event!“
