“Went here on arecommendation from a friend of mine. Did not disappoint. Went and had the lunch buffet on a Saturday. Place filled up after we got seated.Good selection of dishes. They had a coconut shrimp offering that turned out to be my favorite. Most biryani was pretty good as well.Will definitely be back.“
“I came specifically to try the latte flight ($12), which is such a cool concept. I wish other coffee shops offered this. It's a great way for a first timer to try their different lattes. The lattes you get are: 1. Seasonal Latte - it was a Honey Latte (4/8/24) 2. Regular Latte 3. Matcha Latte 4. Ube Latte (no caffeine) I liked them all, but the regular latte was my favorite (lol). The Honey Latte and Ube Latte were a tad too sweet for me. The Ube was unique and creamy, and so pretty (look at that color!). If you like ube, you would like this latte. The matcha latte was good too, probably my 2nd favorite of the 4. Service was great, very friendly staff. The store is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. It reminds of the coffee shops from my Berkeley college days. There's plenty of free parking around the neighborhood, including a free city lot a block away on Mercy.“
“All I can say is TINA!!!!! This is a long overdue review on their cakes. Tina is fantastic!!! You should order all your cakes here!! Forget regular cakes. Order ice cream cakes for now on. I have been convinced for years and order from here for all my personal needs. Recently I ordered for another reason and the cake was a hit! It literally took the cake lol!! Thank you, Tina!!! “This was my first time there. I kinda found it by accident. It proved to be a great accidental find!I had the vegan fish sandwich with aioli sauce. The sandwich was really good and it was loaded with vegetables. It tasted so much like fish I had to ask the owner what the fish was made of. As it turned out the vegan fish is made room tofu and imported from Taiwan. I know firsthand that Taiwan is known for making mock meats from soy that taste like the “real” thing.The owners appear to be upgrading the restaurant. So the aesthetics were not quite there yet.But the sandwich I had tasted really good and that was the most important thing for me. I do recommend it for a quick bite (no pun intended). “The food is great, the problem could be that your food may sit there on the window from the kitchen waiting for it to be given to you for a while, and it does get cold… so you may need to monitor once it is there to try and get it picked up…Other than that, is a nice place…“
