“Another one of my go-to spots for fresh Mexican seafood in San Jose! This is a food truck you definitely don’t want to pass up. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
My personal favorite is the burrito, but the tostada is an absolute must-try too!
The owner/cook is always friendly, welcoming, and great to talk to, which makes the experience even better. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating in a comfortable, relaxed setting, making it a great place to enjoy your meal.“

“I ate Suqaar at the MCA on Friday and it was my first time eating East African food, and suffice it to say, I look forward to eating here again next week!

The flavors are bold and extremely tasty, but not overwhelming at all. The salad was fresh and the dill dressing was refreshing. And the rice was vibrant and had a nice saffron scent. Finally, the chai was really nice :)

“Tucked away in a little side parking lot is this wonderful and authentic Mexican food truck. We ordered the quesabirra tacos with a side of consome and the food came out fairly quick.

While the tacos were delicious, the texture was on the soggier side. This is was a little disappointing as the other times I’ve been here the tacos are nice and crunchy. The consome was not too salty and has a deep and rich flavor to it.

Overall this is a great little hole in the wall that is perfect for either a late night dinner or if you just crave some delicious food.“

Service was good and friendly, had one of each of their pork, chicken, and spicy short rib tamales.

Chicken was a lot better then most places I've had and their short ribs one was good too. Pork was a tad dry but still fine.

“Very good place, the tacos were very well priced and the meat tasted like it was barbecued. They are smaller than the other places, but the flavor definitely makes up for it. Chili is very spicy, so don't put too much if you can't take it. Overall a good place to hit up when you want a qui k plate of tacos.“

“I was driving near Story Road and White Road when I noticed the Tacos Chenco food truck sign and decided to stop and give them a try. I had never been here before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm really glad I stopped.
I ordered the carne asada burrito, and honestly, it was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The carne asada was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The burrito was a great size, packed with fresh ingredients, and every bite was full of flavor.
Their salsa and hot sauce were also absolutely delicious. They had the perfect amount of spice without overpowering the food, and they added even more flavor to an already amazing burrito. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and don't cut corners.
The only small issue is that parking can be a little difficult in the area, but you should be able to find a spot nearby if you are patient. Trust me, the food is definitely worth the effort.
I will absolutely be coming back to try more items from their menu. If you're in the Story and White area and looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by Tacos Chenco. Great food, amazing flavor, and definitely deserving of five stars!“

They load it up with your desired protein and provide a covered salad bar for fixings or provide some to go with carry out orders. I would highly recommend their Al pastor tacos, as someone who has tried tacos throughout the country and frequent Mexico, the first bite left me in awe. I hope it wasn’t just a lucky day but rather that they are consistent with the quality. Definitely worth a stop.“

The burrito I got once was not that seasoned at the next time I asked for more spice. They delivered. The salsas are the spiciest of them all.. really tasteful and really spicy!“

“It's my first time coming here. Street parking or paid parking lot only. Outdoor and indoor dining. Limited seating inside. Their menu is simple and yet offers enough choices for customers. I love the amount of craft beer choices. I'm glad they support a local craft brewery.

I ordered their No. 1 Hot Chicken Nashville Style Sandwich with fries. I was not disappointed at all. The chicken was crispy in the outside and juicy in the inside. The spiciness was perfect for me. Their fries were thick and well done.

The only thing that needs to improve is the hospitality of the cashier. She seemed like she had a long day based on her flat affect. She did not welcome customers coming in or checked if they liked their food. Other than that, this place rocks!“
