“Another one of my go-to spots for fresh Mexican seafood in San Jose! This is a food truck you definitely don’t want to pass up. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
My personal favorite is the burrito, but the tostada is an absolute must-try too!
The owner/cook is always friendly, welcoming, and great to talk to, which makes the experience even better. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating in a comfortable, relaxed setting, making it a great place to enjoy your meal.“

“I ate Suqaar at the MCA on Friday and it was my first time eating East African food, and suffice it to say, I look forward to eating here again next week!

The flavors are bold and extremely tasty, but not overwhelming at all. The salad was fresh and the dill dressing was refreshing. And the rice was vibrant and had a nice saffron scent. Finally, the chai was really nice :)

“Tucked away in a little side parking lot is this wonderful and authentic Mexican food truck. We ordered the quesabirra tacos with a side of consome and the food came out fairly quick.

While the tacos were delicious, the texture was on the soggier side. This is was a little disappointing as the other times I’ve been here the tacos are nice and crunchy. The consome was not too salty and has a deep and rich flavor to it.

Overall this is a great little hole in the wall that is perfect for either a late night dinner or if you just crave some delicious food.“

“The absolute best Mexican food I’ve had in the United States so far, unlike most Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area, the cooks at Chavindecas Rossy actually season their meat very well, especially the adobada, so you can’t go wrong whether you order tacos or chavindecas (quesadillas stuffed with meat served with 3 different salsas and a small roasted onion) each of the 3 salsas they serve is absolutely delicious, they also sell great cheeses and candies made in Mexico, this is as close as it gets from all the places I’ve tried to the flavor and quality of the food in Mexico, the price is well worth it every single time.“

Service was good and friendly, had one of each of their pork, chicken, and spicy short rib tamales.

Chicken was a lot better then most places I've had and their short ribs one was good too. Pork was a tad dry but still fine.

“I was driving near Story Road and White Road when I noticed the Tacos Chenco food truck sign and decided to stop and give them a try. I had never been here before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm really glad I stopped.
I ordered the carne asada burrito, and honestly, it was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The carne asada was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The burrito was a great size, packed with fresh ingredients, and every bite was full of flavor.
Their salsa and hot sauce were also absolutely delicious. They had the perfect amount of spice without overpowering the food, and they added even more flavor to an already amazing burrito. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and don't cut corners.
The only small issue is that parking can be a little difficult in the area, but you should be able to find a spot nearby if you are patient. Trust me, the food is definitely worth the effort.
I will absolutely be coming back to try more items from their menu. If you're in the Story and White area and looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by Tacos Chenco. Great food, amazing flavor, and definitely deserving of five stars!“

“Best tacos on the East side of San Jose. I’ve coming here for years since when they only had a carreta de tacos. They really upgraded over the years, now they offer aguas frescas in different flavors. The tacos are always delicious, my favorite son los de ojo y al pastor!“

“Menudo is phenomenal. Growing up in Texas, it’s been hard to find a good Menudo here in the Bay Area. On top of that, they have hand made fresh tortillas! I’m glad we stumbled upon this place. The absolute standout was the crab rangoon nachos. They were loaded with a generous crab filling, and topped with a sweet-and-spicy sauce that tied everything together beautifully. It’s the kind of dish I’d happily order again. The hot and sour beef was satisfying, and pleasantly spicy without being overwhelming. The pad see ee was a bit tougher than expected. We were also hoping to try out the popcorn chicken, but unfortunately they had already sold out by the time we had ordered. That says a lot about the popularity of the dish. I’d definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

“Came here on a weekday evening for dinner. They have street parking and some parking spaces right in front. They take Google pay, Apple Pay, and credit cards in addition to cash. Ordered tacos Al pastor, camaròn, asada y pollo, and asada fries(recommend). All good & fresh. They have quaint outdoor seating too thats covered to block out the cold wind. Customer service was standard and didn't feel disrespected. I'd come back here again!
