Where you can find quality handcrafted food. I loved everything I’d ordered. From dim sum, milk tea, white sauce, marinated pork ribs and chicken feet, baked egg custard, to specialty traditional Hong Konger soup of the day!
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have experience this taste again, I left HK back in 2006. This place tasted like home, my childhood, I wonder if they are from Kwun Tong too!

“I always come here on Mondays when I work in San Carlos. One of the best burritos and quesadillas I ever tried so far. The portions are huge, barely can finish it. Very delisious and juicy burritos, specially shrimp one. Nice service, the lady very friendly, and always smiles. Defenetly reccomend👌🏼“

“Such an amazing culinary experience from Wokitchen Food Truck! I had the opportunity to try it for the first time when they were stationed at “The Crossing,” in downtown San Francisco. When I went there was only one employee, who could have been the owner / manager, and they were very friendly. The menu was diverse and the Honey Walnut Prawns (which is what I ordered) was incredible. The sticky jasmine rice was awesome and the honey prawns with walnut was so good! If you ever see this food truck be sure to stop and buy something, you won’t be sorry!“

“The smash burger was great and similar to what you would expect. However, the beef patty could use some additional salt. Also, when I asked for the special sauce, it was served with mayonnaise. I think the flavor would be more enhanced with the special sauce.“

Truly amazing food and salsas. Specifically, the food tasted fresh and natural. It's not just a bunch of salty, greasy ingredients thrown together - this place uses a lot of fresh variety of meats and vegetables. Home made tortillas too.

“Got the super tacos and the Ramen. The beef taco was just insane. The flavor of the beef was unmatched. The soup was just as incredible. I dumped my remaining sauce from the super tacos into it and it just melted in my mouth with that fall apart beef. BEST damn Ramen I've ever had.“

“Owner is very nice service is great! 7 hours later I’m not sick. I love tacos and I am in a mission finding good tacos in San Mateo county but this is not it. I’m so sorry. I think the reason most people like it and this has good reviews is just because they’re so starving waiting at DMV I am a very honest reviewer. Here are my reasons why…
- the salsa is not spicy
- the salsa is very thick
- the salsa was slimy
- the meat taste spoiled
- my daughter didn’t like it lol

“You didn't know this before but if you like lunch or enjoy food you should eat here.

First time diner, long time consumer. I made a rookie mistake while ordering the vegetarian sandwich on sourdough. French or dutch crunch roll is recommended. Said I was open to suggestions. Then we added avocado, fresh jalapeno, tapatio, and a side of fries.

I ate half the fries and the smaller cut of the sandwich. I'm excited to be hungry again in about two hours.“

“The Bay Area has some of the fiercest competitive markets for Americanized Mexican food in the world. Of the many fine burrito-centric establishments I have tried here, Alva's is one of the best.

In other words, you can step up to a truck and minutes later be enjoying literally one of the best burritos in the world. Truly a silver lining of the modern world.

“I live at the top of the road and I passed this for a year. I thought it was there because we have had a ton of construction on the road. Thought I’d give it a try… oh sweet baby Jesus I’m glad I did. The tortillas are made from SCRATCH!!!!! The meat is not grease the flavor is a chefs kiss amazing. Tacos are $3 a piece, that’s all I’ve tried but the my dying to try more. They have burritos and tortas. Def give this truck a taste you won’t be disappointed.

The to-go containers are recyclable. Clean tables with shade to eat next to the truck. conveniently located on University Avenue next to Shell gas station. If you happen to pass the station while going toward Dumbarton Bridge 84, I highly recommend stopping by. Even if you are not hungry take it home or to work. I guarantee you will like it and come back. Very nice and friendly staff. I'm planning to try their other foods and report.“

“Is a nice looking a little street food cart. Plenty of parking. Food is great, I have to wait a while but at the end is worth, everything is made while you ordered, so I have to wait a little bit more. Ceviche tostada it was perfect, huarache it was very good made with fresh dough, not frozen and oily. They also serve tacos with homemade tortilla, burritos and quesabirrias. If you looking for real fresh street mexican food, I highly recommend this place. Price is in range.“

Was passing by to go grab a bite to eat somewhere when I saw they had the food I was craving🤗 of course we had to stop by and ordered Tacos, Torta, and super burrito of Lengua 'cow tongue' all the meats where delicious but my very best is tripas and pastor!! 10/10 recommend !!! And their iced coffee just made it the best meal ever!! Will defenitly be stopping by more often .. come and stop by at El Chilango food truck!!“

“My favorite dinner is barbecued pork ribs and baked beans from Capelo's. I've been to St. Louis and other so-called barbecue restaurants in the Bay Area, but none compete with the ribs that Castro and the boys offer on a daily basis. I don't know how they do it, but for me, the meat tells the story and one doesn't need either of the several sauces they provide.
Their online ordering is straight-forward, their prices are excellent, and I have been the beneficiary of party ordering from offspring in Arizona.
And by the way, parking is rarely an issue !

“Got the bulgogi burrito at off the grid OMCA and honestly, no notes. Absolutely INCREDIBLE tasting - well marinated bulgogi, crispy tots, fast and smooth customer service. My friend got the chicken katsu and he intended to only eat half and he ate it all - I tried it and it was TASTY. I consider myself a discerning eater and I have no qualms at all. Highly recommend!!“
