“The new and improved Everest Momo. We had visited in the past and liked the fried rice, noodles, and momo. I was craving some spicy fried rice so we decided to visit. When we walked in, we realized this was not the Everest we remembered from 6 months ago. We chose a table and then received a completely overhauled menu. There were so many choices and lots of them looked delicious. We went with the veg biryani, tandoori aloo, and laccha paratha. We asked for things to be made spicy. Everything was delicious and the sauces were fantastic. Before we left, we were already making plans to return.“
“The 626 night market was such a fun experience! If you go, I would recommend doing what my friends and I did, and each of you getting different foods and then sharing, so you can try the widest variety of options. The food is a little on the expensive side but it was all delicious. The highlight of the night for me was the Carne Asada Nachos from the taco truck they had, because those might genuinely be some of the best nachos I've had, they were DELICIOUS! 626 is a great event to bring family and friends to for a fun time.“
“We went when they were stationed at 3 Steves winery in Livermore. It was well worth the trek from SF. We got: Idly-vadai combo Potato paratha Masala dosa Bonus samosas! Like Anju said below, some of the softest idli ever. The vada were fragrant and perfectly crispy. Samosas were super crispy outside but still soft and moist inside. Dosas are usually my least favorite on a tiffin menu but this one made me reconsider. There was also more filling than one typically gets. The paratha was also delightful, as were the chickpeas alongside. Coconut chutney and sambar were both great and there was plenty of both. Highly recommend!!!!!! The owners are also super sweet!“
“Tried out their asada tacos for dinner takeout, which was good overall. All the components were good, but the meat was a bit lackluster in taste. Their spicy salsa added a nice kick. Tacos were $3 each. You will have to wait a bit (less than 10 minutes) while they make the food fresh to order. Location has some parking adjacent to the truck, and there is a table with a few chairs in front along with a standing table on the side of the truck. Otherwise, eating in car or takeout would be more likely. It is a large blue truck visible on the street, you won't miss it.“
“SF East Bay (Livermore). Delicious food at a clean place beside a gas station! We got:* shrimp wet burrito - good and generous in size* tripa gringa - they definitely earned plus points from me when they asked if I wanted the tripa crispy or soft! Tasty and it was overflowing with meat too.* tamarind drink - my new favorite Mexican drink, loved this* horchata - always good and their version was the right amount of sweetnessBtw, they also have complimentary chips. We'll definitely be back to try their other menu items!“
“Finally, I got to try this food truck that always spills out BBQ smell at the farmers market. We got the today special plate that comes with stir-fried grass noodles, rice, and grilled pork because this menu doesn't always come. Took about 5-10 min to get our food. The noodles and rice were very soft and easily digested (nothing to really chew). The pork has a very good smoked flavor, and the portion size was generous. We shared one plate with two persons, which was good for lunch. It's definitely not a healthier option considering the near absence of veggies and high carb/fat contents, but once in a while, it gives you that guilty pleasure. :-) (I hope the workers there wear a protective mask. It's very smokey nearby, and keep inhaling those vapors might not be good)“
“I tried mutton seek kebab and chicken kebabs earlier but today for a change I tried Chicken roll and Fish tikka. After first bite I went back to my Delhi college days. Same chicken roll taste as India and tikkas are always awesome. Our host Varun is one of the best chef in Fremont :) Keep it up ??“
“Ivy is a great cook and great support for our parties. She is always willing to help, provides suggestions, she just gets things done with no supervision at all. You just tell her what you need once, and she makes good notes, and she will just get it done. We have hired her service twice, and planning to hire her for a lot more in the future. Highly recommended!“
“So glad that I tried this taco truck! I had the pork tacos and shrimp and octopus tostada. The tostada was really crispy and tasted high quality. Staff is friendly and gives a lot of great suggestions. Reasonably priced with nicely sized portions and careful packaging for all types of weather. It happened to be very windy the day I came. Important to note that this place only takes cash.“
“Came with daughter and her friends, they absolutely loved it!First, the appetizers. We started simple- gobi manchurian and a chaat Papdi; but the gobi was so good we ended up ordering a second.Ordered myself a mojito and Shirley temple and lassis for the table, absolutely top of the line. The entrees came next. The Kadai paneer has amazing spice, although for my daughter’s friend it was a little too spicy. Veg biryani was class. Also bought us a kofta curry, but portion sizes were very good so we were not able to finish, but the dish itself was excellent.5/5, easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the Bay Area“
