“Came here for iftar in Ramadan and had a really good experience. We had about five people and ordered platters with chicken, beef, and lamb. The food was really, really good with solid authentic flavor. I do wish it had been a little warmer, but that was more because we waited for Maghrib, prayed, and then ate, so by then it had cooled down. We were sitting outside on a beautiful day, the staff was friendly, and they even had cinnamon tea on the side, which was a nice touch. The portions were strong too. Even with five people and three platters, we still had a good amount of food. Overall, a great halal spot in San Jose and definitely worth trying.“

“10/10 first time ordering - excellent soft goat curry, channa perfect flavour, rice is high quality and chicken tikka and beef kebabs were very well done. Appreciate the sweet creamy balance of chicken tikka and nice kick of the beef kebabs. Perfect balance. Food was packaged thoughtfully and showed up fresh and hot. Loved my order via door dash, excited to try in person.“

“I can't believe how much I love this place. The market and kabob deli is by far the best store and eatery I've been to since moving to San Jose. Eddy/Eddie (possibly the manager or owner) introduced himself and was very welcoming. Whether you're looking for groceries or take out food, the quality and customer service is topnotch. I love the atmosphere, love the food and everything is reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!“

“Came here for lunch, the lunch time special was quickly prepared, there is self serve free tea too. If they had provided sauces or chutneys the food have been more complete. Parking lot is very busy at lunch times and hard to find parking. The seating capacity is limited.“

Still a really great chicken. Great flavor in both the crust and chicken itself and pretty juicy too.

Their prices are a bit high though, however their chicken is one of the best fast food fried chicken around.“

“I go here basically every day, and usually get the rice bowl with brown rice, BBQ chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and kale. On occasion I’ll get the fries bowl, which is really good; crispy and fresh. It’s healthy, tasty, quick, and affordable food on campus. I would definitely recommend “

“Starting off with the aesthetics of the place, it’s really modern with a clean minimalistic style, it also has a Mumu tea bar on the side and also a sauce bar to make your own sauces for the meats. 5/5 on the place itself

The food is also great. It’s has pretty reasonable prices as you are paying for quality meat and also lots of side dishes. Really good options for the soup bases, personally I love the tom yum soup base. It has a mix of sweet and a kick of spiciness with it. Additionally I got the iced matcha here too, it comes filled to the brim, the matcha is very smooth, creamy and not too sweet or too bitter with matcha. It has a really similar taste when I went to Korea for matcha. 5/5 on food and drinks.

Customer service is great here too, staff were very attentive with service such as checking up, water refills, adding more soup, getting the bill, etc. 5/5 on the service

Overall, if you haven’t tried this place, it’s definitely one of the top places to grab some hotpot. Great service and food here.“
