“If you would like to make the best use of your money at this place, go on a weekday for lunch because its gonna be $25. For that price its 100% totally worth it and possibly the best hot pot to try.

Worth eating: Beef, Shrimp, fish fillets, Veggies, fruits and the soup. Just these are easily worth $25 bucks plus you get a great experience.

Rest are filler meat, frozen meat and Dessert is quite bad. There’s chicken and lamb too

Beef is possibly the only meat that I really liked here. The only thing I disliked is that we need to ask the server to bring it as we cannot pick it up ourselves. One bowl has one thin strip in it. They get two at once for a single person. The server would most likely judge you if you order a lot which I found a bit awkward as there is only one server on weekdays

Most of the other meat is frozen. Also, don’t expect high quality cut here because it’s only 25 bucks but its pretty great for the prize. Plus its a very large restaurant.

“I am writing this review with great happiness because the service I received was beyond my expectations. I have known about this restaurant for a long time, but yesterday was my first time visiting, and I had a wonderful experience.

The food was very good, and the taste was excellent. We asked them to prepare the meat in a specific way, and they made it exactly as we requested. Their service was outstanding, especially Mr. Joe. He was very kind, respectful, and professional. He listened carefully to our instructions and made sure everything was served just the way we wanted.

I truly appreciate the great service and hospitality. Overall, the restaurant, the staff, and the food were all excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to others.“

“The guy at the counter, Khan, had great recommendations! Got the loaded chicken fries in xtra hot and WOW. If you're someone who lives for spicy foods or dynamite chips, this is exactly your heat level — that same addictive, sinus-clearing kick. Crispy chicken, loaded fries, seriously amazing flavor, not just heat for heat's sake.

Also huge plus: it's halal! Honestly better than Angry Chicks in my opinion — the spice game here is more legit and the flavor holds up. Fremont needed this. Will definitely be back for more xtra hot runs.“

“For romantic atmosphere and healthy options“

“We ordered the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles, beef chow mein, garlic naan, grilled lamb chops, lamb skewers, and baked buns.

As someone from Henan, I thought the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles tasted somewhat similar to the style back home, and overall it was probably the best dish we had this time. The garlic naan was decent, and the lamb skewers were also okay.

However, the grilled lamb chops were disappointing. The meat was way too tough and almost impossible to chew. After we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly removed the dish from our bill, which I appreciated.

Later, we also ordered beef chow mein and baked buns. The beef chow mein was pretty average. As for the baked buns, it did seem like there was more meat filling than before, but the flavor was different from what I remembered. They weren’t as fragrant, didn’t have much juice inside, and overall tasted a bit dry, so they weren’t really to my taste.

Overall, the food here feels different from when the restaurant first opened, and I’m not sure if the chef has changed. Based on the dishes I tried this time, I’d say the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles are still worth trying, but I’d be cautious about ordering the other dishes. I also visited the Mountain View location for lunch, but personally I wouldn’t recommend that one either, since they didn’t have stir-fried noodle dishes and only offered soup noodles.“

“Delicious burgers with options to suit all tastes. They have beef, chicken, and veggie patties as well as some without Pakistani spices for picky eaters like my daughter. They also have loaded quesadillas with fries and their signature spicy sauce which are amazing. They also have a good variety of shakes. We’ve had the mango and the Oreo Never Boreo.“

“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.“

Last night 5 of ladies needed an easy no fuss dinner option, mostly one we could spend time catching up without feeling rushed.

The food was great, atmosphere was quiet & clean, some tables are available for outside seating (moved inside once all of us arrived), very helpful & kind worker, clean bathroom, and friendly open environment.

We all enjoyed our meals, and even living in different cities in the bay, we’d all return. ALL sauces were great and offered with meals.

The only food improvement for me, would be the regular fries, I’d substitute them and try curly fries next visit.

I went back the next day for the shredded chicken and it was quality meat soaked in a delicious sauce. The spicy salsa was thick, spicy, and amazing. They do not skimp here. They are also friendly and clean. Impressed all around. Don’t hesitate, eat here.“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. Parking was easy with free street parking. The vibe is fast-casual with limited indoor seating, but there’s plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas, including overflow tables set up along the sidewalk.

You order and pay at the counter, get a number, and the food is brought to your table.

Everything we tried was delicious. The grilled chicken boti sizzler and chicken tikka thali both had incredibly tender, flavorful chicken. The garlic naan was warm and fluffy, and the mango lassi was thick, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Portions were generous for the price.

Fun fact: Zareen’s was founded by Karachi native Zareen Khan, who even bought a house in Menlo Park to rent to her employees at an affordable rate because of Silicon Valley’s high cost of living. It’s easy to see why this flagship location earned Michelin Guide recognition.“

We saw this place was close by open late and we all went and really enjoyed the food ten times better not to mention they have a drive thru too if you don’t want to go inside and order.
