“This place deserve few Michelin stars ?The steak was amazing. Kudos to the chef.Don't forget to order lamb shank. It's great.Parking is paid off street and may struggle to find one. It's right in the Redwood City downtown. Ambience is good. Not a lot of seating so do call and reserve a table. Everything is made in-house. Bloody amazing taste. Definitely recommend for Fine dining.“
“I recently dined at Hella, a Mediterranean gem, and was thoroughly impressed! The combo plate I ordered was delicious, offering a variety of flavors that were both authentic and perfectly seasoned. My sister enjoyed a tasty chicken gyro, which was juicy and flavorful. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service, particularly from the manager who surprised us with complimentary rice pudding. It was a delightful treat that perfectly ended our meal. I highly recommend Hella for anyone looking to enjoy quality Mediterranean cuisine and outstanding service. A definite five-star experience!“
“This is a superb Mediterranean restaurant in Palo Alto. The food, service, and the ambience are all very nice. For appetizers, we ordered the eggplant which was incredibly flavorful, although a bit on the heavy side. For my main dish I ordered house combo plate, which came with a combination of chicken kebab, beef kebab, lamb and beef gyros, served with rice and a salad. Surprisingly, the chicken kebab were the best ones -- just amazing flavors, although I pretty much enjoyed everything. Very polite and courteous staff -- a definite place to return to.“
“I tried The Good Salad for the first time and OMG it was absolutely delicious! I tried the Pesto Ceezar and the dressing on it is insanely good. They also give a decent amount of food. The food is really good quality and I'm so happy I found my new salad spot!!!“
“I've noticed more salad places popping up in the area and decided to check out this spot to switch up our usual trip to Mendocino Farms. Note that this is a to-go place for pick up only. No indoor seating. We ordered the samurai steak salad and subbed out the cucumbers for the croutons. The girl working was patient with us, and also threw in the sweet heat dressing for us to try! Customer service was amazing, if not the best I've received in a while (sadly). I loved how many options there were, and the salad was good, but I doubt I'll be going out of my way to come here again.“
“I work close to here and love the food. It's a cool spot to get lunch during the workday when the weather is nice.I usually order on door dash for pickup and walk down with my office mates. You can usually get a table, but it does get crowded, especially at lunch time. They have lots of vegan options, which is great! Definitely recommend the vegan potato thali. The only thing that could use improvement is the service. They are always very busy, and have lots of takeout orders. It makes things a little chaotic, and they get a bit mixed up sometimes. Don't eat here if you are in a hurry - you might have to wait a bit for them to sort things out.Overall I recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegan stuff! Check it out ?“
“I came across this place while I was door dashing. The menu was unique and the sandwiches sounded good. I got the Tom & Jerry on a Dutch Crunch roll. It came exactly how I ordered it and tasted amazing. There is plenty of sauce on it which I love. The bread was nice and soft too! I wish there was one closer to my house. I'd probably eat here more often. Definitely gonna order again.“

“Stumbled on this place quite by accident - since its not a very visible place. Was surprised by how good and fresh the good was, and awesome shakes. Has become our regular go-to burger joint, and on a nice sunny day the outdoor seating is perfect with the great food.“
“Went to Arya Steakhouse for Eid with my family, and it was really nice experience! They were accommodating, especially with our stroller, we were able to be seated outside. The lamb shank I tried was delicious, and so were the rice, garlic fries, and mashed potatoes. My wife loved the chicken kebab. Our server Michael was very nice, always making sure we had enough water, and food arrived at reasonable time. It's a good spot for Eid, all halal and very tasty. I was so full, I joked about needing help to get home. Definitely recommend it.“
“Very nice service and interior. I liked the food a lot, which was high quality and had delicious authentic flavors. I recommend the chicken samsa and the yogurt dessert. The chicken noodle was delicious as well. I will return soon because it was a good meal.“
“We came to SAJJ with a small group of coworkers, and it was fast, friendly, and tasty. I had a shawafel rice bowl (shawarma and falafel) and all of the toppings I had them put on were great. I also liked the mint lemonade! I'd be happy to come back for a quick meal some time.“
“Super tasty food. The steak and the pomegranate chicken are really good. The portions are pretty good size and there are many toppings to choose from.I wish the employees could smile and be a little nicer. That is what this place needs to be great.Vegetarian options: FalafelCauliflowerHummus“
“Authentic taste with great experience. We ordered Mysore masala dosa , podi idli and Madras dosa. Crispy tasty and real podi chutney.Although sambhar is not spicy at all and it has more sweet taste. Sambhar didn't had drumsticks and masala as it is supposed to be authentically.Chutneys are definitely tasty. Also like their buttermilk specially the fresh fragrance and taste of curry leaves. We had take out yesterday and uttapam is great too.Even samosa were crunchy and imli chutney is damn tasty.“
“Service at this location is fantastic. The food quality is similar to what you'd expect from Cava or Naya on the east coast. It's good for that Mediterranean fix. The downside is the cost. Around 16 bucks for a bowl is tough to stomach. They do add a nice lentil soup with your meal though and have some interesting sauces / dips. Plenty of seating in there too.“
“Totally happy today with my trip to Aladdin Gourmet - ran in to get some haloumi on my way to BevMo - they had everything I needed and more that I didn't, including frozen Kunafe - the man at the register was very nice - I mentioned that my favorite Kunafe man moved to Ohio - to which he replied, "We make Kunafe here!" oh my goodness I was so excited. He shouted in Arabic to the man in the deli area to give me a piece - IT WAS DELICIOUS! I have my new Kunafe place! I was so sad when the last guy moved to Ohio and now I have my prayers answered - FRESH KUNAFE and still within a mile of my home! Next time I will get some of their fresh food on display - it looked and smelled delicious in there. Can't wait to visit them again! Meanwhile, I will eat my frozen Kunafe they carried, and will visit Aladdin again soon for my fresh Kunafe fix!“
“I've lived near downtown San Mateo for years, and this is my go-to Mediterranean/Greek place! They have spacious seating, are very clean, and have healthy options. My favorite dish is the Chipotle Hummus (appetizer). Every time I visit, I have to get it!Everything else they have is pretty standard, but solid food. I'm also a fan of the Lamb & Beef gyros plate. They give good sized portions with meat/falafels + salad + rice.“
“We walked in in the middle of the afternoon long past the normal lunch hour. The paneer 65 biriyani was amazingly tasty, despite the high spice level. The server warned me in advance of the spice but I was happy to try it out regardless. Great food overall.“
“I have been to this place only a handful of times. Each time the food quality and service never ceases to amaze me. The food is spectacularly delicious. The service is quick. Don' t let that deter you in thinking the food quality must lack. On the contrary, they use fresh ingredients and the fact that they are so busy they food turn over is great. you know you are getting fresh cooked food. Hands down the best pakistani/indian restaurant in the bay area. I recommend the halwa puri thali on the weekends and the spinach gosht on the weekdays with garlic naan.“
