“Finally made the 90-minute trek to Dave’s Hot Chicken with the fam! 🍗 The vibe was great—super friendly staff and a very clean spot despite the crowd. The chicken was fresh, hot, and delicious. Only downside was no cheese sticks today, but that just gives us an excuse to come back soon!“

“Really tasty chicken and spice was perfect. I enjoy the music they play and it’s very chill and calm when everyone is eating and vibing, lots of seating and not over crowded. The fries were also very crispy and big. Dave’s hot chicken was just way too packed full of children and too busy to bother to order and dine in. We saw this place was close by open late and we all went and really enjoyed the food ten times better not to mention they have a drive thru too if you don’t want to go inside and order. Definitely will be back!“

If you're someone who lives for spicy foods or dynamite chips, this is exactly your heat level — that same addictive, sinus-clearing kick. Crispy chicken, loaded fries, seriously amazing flavor, not just heat for heat's sake.

Also huge plus: it's halal! Honestly better than Angry Chicks in my opinion — the spice game here is more legit and the flavor holds up. Fremont needed this. Will definitely be back for more xtra hot runs.“

“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.“

“We went there for lunch not knowing what to expect. We shared the spicy broth along with the original broth option. For our base meat we choose Beef and then we had a gizzilion other options to choose from the buffet style setting. In addition you also have spring rolls, fried rice and lots of desserts and fruits. The place is really clean and our server was very helpful and explained everything in detail. Highly recommended.“

“When I search for a burrito I’m looking for the biggest messiest flavor packed burrito I can find—Casa Maria’s birria burrito had me on the floor. I went back the next day for the shredded chicken and it was quality meat soaked in a delicious sauce. The spicy salsa was thick, spicy, and amazing. They do not skimp here. They are also friendly and clean. Impressed all around. Don’t hesitate, eat here.“
