“Really enjoyed Nomadic Kitchen in San Mateo! They feature a streamlined menu focused on heavy-hitting entrees and appetizers, which makes ordering easy because everything they do, they do right.

The hummus plate is an absolute must-have. It features incredibly creamy, delicious hummus topped with vibrant cabbage and pomegranate seeds. It is surrounded by a beautiful ring of rich, colorful sauces, dips, and pickles that pair perfectly with the basket of warm, homemade bread.

For the main course, the chicken kebab was a total hit. The chicken breast cubes are perfectly charred and incredibly tender. What really sets Nomadic Kitchen over the top is their beautiful plating and generous side options. The entree comes out beautifully arranged on a sleek black platter, complete with a fresh salad topped with pickled cabbage, a side of seasoned bulgur wheat, and a side of fluffy white rice. Having both rice options on one plate is a fantastic touch.

If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting out on the patio area to enjoy the beautiful San Mateo sun. The service was completely solid, friendly and fairly quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. I will definitely be back.“

I've had some watery ones from other restaurants that spilled out when cut open in the past. Theirs is legit. Customize your own, but the 1 on the menu's fabulous as is. They make their own herb focaccia! Ordering mouthwatering meatballs a la carte is a must! Pastas, paninis, open face, salads, rotisserie chx, ribs, draft beer, wine, delivery, takeout, etc. Perfect place to take your loved ones/friends who'd appreciate the art & hard work the staff serves up so quickly!“

The location is most convenient and the Resturant atmosphere is most welcoming. From their humble Owner to each employee, each patron receives a warm and gracious welcoming.
The food and presentation is definitely five star in all aspects.

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“This is a very unique joint because it’s inside of a grocery store which made it unique, but the food itself was amazing. We were here from out of town in the Central Valley and the reviews were very good so we took a chance and we were very happy. The grocery store itself was amazing. “We had a nice lunch outside at Anatolian Kitchen. We shared one app and had wraps. The wraps are very large, cut in half, and could be shared by two if not overly hungry. Both the lamb and the chicken were tasty. Two of us enjoyed mocktail Margaritas and we all ended with cappuccinos. Nice service on a sunny day (but outside tables mostly in shade).“

“Good but -1 star for the hours. Every time I actually want quesabirria tacos, they're closed. They close during the prime dinner time, which is unfortunate. I always end up ordering my quesabirria tacos from elsewhere.

Besides their quesabirria, I really like their orange and green salsas. It's just the right amount of heat in each.“

We came to Field Works to watch the England vs. Croatia game, and since they are in partnership with Bahche, the food was brought straight to our table! Super fresh, warm and ready to munch by all at the table! The ceviche was super juicy and tasty, the shrimp, fish and octopus was absolutely delicious. The beef and chicken skewers had just the right marinate and grill marks that made us feel outdoors, as if they were grilled right beside us. All around excellent experience for myself my brother and our friends. Anybody visiting this area needs to visit Bahche, it’s super convenient to get to between El Camino and 101-S in a super nice renewed area of Hillsdale/San Mateo. Their baklava with ice cream topped off the amazing experience and it was to our liking. I must call out their attention to detail, check out my photo of the baklava. How they place it even for a to-go packaging! Awesome and well recommended!“
