“Great food! Ordered at the counter and sat for dinner. My mom enjoyed her chicken and salad. I really liked my tortellini with chicken. Foccida bread was good! Felt compelled to order a pizza to go after seeing how they were making it so fresh. SO glad we did. Marg Pizza was so good!“
“The zaalouk and the lamb kabab were perfect.Perfect cook. Perfect seasoning.Perfect sauces to accompany my dishes. This hole in the wall is easy to miss.It is in a kind of back parking lot off of the main shopping area. It has a lot of competition, very near by.I loved it. It was exactly what a no-frills place like this should be.10 out of 10 I would go again.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie friendly options. Some vegan!Dietary restrictions: They make what they make. If you want to adjust it they will do their best High chance of cross contaminationParking: Free shared lot. Very packed.Kid-friendliness: Sure. If they like Mediterranean food, they will like this.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“I recently dined at Hella, a Mediterranean gem, and was thoroughly impressed! The combo plate I ordered was delicious, offering a variety of flavors that were both authentic and perfectly seasoned. My sister enjoyed a tasty chicken gyro, which was juicy and flavorful. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service, particularly from the manager who surprised us with complimentary rice pudding. It was a delightful treat that perfectly ended our meal. I highly recommend Hella for anyone looking to enjoy quality Mediterranean cuisine and outstanding service. A definite five-star experience!“
“Having lived in RWC for ten years, I have probably been at every establishment in the city. If there is one place that beats them all is West Park. If you are in downtown this is the place to eat.Update (four years later): this place still rocks and produce awesome food.“
“Came for a family reunion lunch. We wanted to sit in the back patio which looks super cute but they wouldn't let the kids sit there. Even though none of us were smoking Hookah. Not too busy on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. which was a good thing because we had a party of eight and there was only one table that could fit us.Food was great. We had wraps and various pite. Fries and falafel and salads were good.Lots of choices on the menu. For dessert, we had baklava and Turkish coffee and rice pudding and they were delicious. You can order on your phone or at the counter and they're pretty fast.If you don't have kids under 21, I recommend sitting on the back patio.“
“This is a superb Mediterranean restaurant in Palo Alto. The food, service, and the ambience are all very nice. For appetizers, we ordered the eggplant which was incredibly flavorful, although a bit on the heavy side. For my main dish I ordered house combo plate, which came with a combination of chicken kebab, beef kebab, lamb and beef gyros, served with rice and a salad. Surprisingly, the chicken kebab were the best ones -- just amazing flavors, although I pretty much enjoyed everything. Very polite and courteous staff -- a definite place to return to.“
“”Mediterranean Pizza & Gyro” is great! This family runned restaurant serves up wonderful, fresh, food: From ”mezze” (appetizers: hummus, baba ganoush, falafel) to wraps with various proteins: salmon, chicken, lamb/beef. Their salads are vibrant & fresh! Their specialty is “Pide” (Turkish pizza). They are baked to order straight out if the oven. Great food, great service from a proud family. Need I say more?“

“It's rare to find a place with so many outstanding reviews - all of them are more than accurate!Absolutely delicious homemade food! Go and try yourself! I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely come back! The Manti were to die for!“
“Great food and service! We went with some friends and the owners gave us samples of their delicious dips with pita bread. The spitfire chicken salad bowl was delicious. We had kalamari steaks and falafel too. Very delicious. We will definitely be back. Reasonably priced good food.“
“This was a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was stylish: marble topped tables and gold chairs, with subdued lighting. The food was exquisite. I started with the roasted cauliflower, made with dates, mint, and harissa tahini sauce. I ordered it because it sounded exotic, and. . . I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! I will order this again! And I followed that with the Caprese pizza (mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil). It was, in a word, delicious! The crust was marvelous: soft and slightly chewy. I shouldn’t be surprised. The Turks have the best bread. I will definitely be back, but also want to try the sister restaurant, Mykonos.“
“Vegetarian / vegan wrap perfect for Good Friday. The Turkish double espresso was delicious and not gross like the bitter American roasters. I got fries, but did not realize lentil soup is on the menu. Next time. Operated by family, doesn’t get better than that.Dietary restrictions: Halal“

The attention to detail in decor, combined with the tantalizing aroma of authentic Greek cuisine, set the stage for an unforgettable dining adventure. A true gem in the culinary world, Greek Kitchen has earned its place as a must-visit destination for anyone craving an authentic taste of Greece. Highly recommended!“
“Dropped in on a whim, wasn’t sure what to order. The owner offered some free samples. The lamb is amazing! Some of the best I’ve ever had. He made me a lamb gyro that was 10/10. My son and I were very impressed with the service and food. We Will be dropping by again. Thank you!“
“They accept reservations and the wait time for walk-ins varies. On Sunday evening, I waited for 30 minutes. They offer fantastic pasta and desserts. The clam chowder soup was a bit cold, but the taste was good. The pasta and cheesecake were amazing. The hosts are very welcoming.“
“We visited this place on a rainy Saturday evening and we were the only customers. We ordered Vegetarian Skewers with Pesto Sauce and Vegetarian Combo Plate. The skewers were small in portion size and it didn't come with the pesto sauce. Not the best skewers we have had but manageable. The Vegetarian Combo Plate had small portion too except the romaine lettuce. The food was fresh but we have had better falafels than these. The hummus and babagonush were tasty but had some sort of funny smell(probably from cooked meats in same kitchen). We wished portion size was bigger but may be it's because of inflation. We also had Baklava which was very sweet and all we could taste was sweet syrup. We would not order it again. This place is good for quick bites.“
“Delicious food, smart presentation, good wine list. They understand proper sear on salmon.Every dish has rich flavors and textures. Really well done, so there's a lot to talk about. Many people come here on dates and it's a great place for that. The squash dessert is amazing -- not savory but not too sweet and with a lot of complexity. To top it off, the staff is friendly and the service attentive without hovering. It's the best kind of "feeling at home" -- that's hospitality.Vegetarian options: If it doesn't say it has meat, it doesn't. The Turlu is amazing, and there's a very large and diverse veg app platter.“
“The food is great, and they have several interesting dishes on the menu that I haven't seen at other Mediterranean places. The ambiance is pretty nice, too (it used to be super brightly lit, but they’ve since fixed that and placed small lamps on each table, which makes for a super cozy vibe)“

“For Valentine's Day we dined at Urfa Bistro and as always, we were thoroughly impressed. The meal started with warm, soft bread accompanied by a delicious olive infused dipping oil bursting with flavor. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye dish, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, accompanied by garden vegetables, mashed potatoes and Bearnaise sauce. Each bite was a delicious delight. The friendly staff, attentive service, cozy ambiance and rose for every female guest added to the overall experience, making it a memorable dining outing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. It's a fabulous restaurant.“
“Wow!! Super delicious!! Went with a group of 6 friends and everyone loved the the food!! Lots of fantastic vegetarian options. I ordered the Mjadra and we shared the Fattoush salad, tabouleh, and pickles. My friends also got the veggie combo and falafel wrap.I had a different salad which came with my mjadra and both that salad and the Fattoush salad had crazy yummy dressing. I loved them so much I asked if they sold the dressing separately to go and she said they didn't but she gave me a generous portion of each to take home with me...no charge!!“

“While in the Los Altos downtown, we were looking for a spot to eat and found this on Yelp. It was a nice find. We enjoyed the food on the hot day and sat outside under the umbrellas on the benches. I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it was very good and fresh. It came with few pieces of bread on the side. The service was great. I would recommend!“
“This place deserve few Michelin stars ?The steak was amazing. Kudos to the chef.Don't forget to order lamb shank. It's great.Parking is paid off street and may struggle to find one. It's right in the Redwood City downtown. Ambience is good. Not a lot of seating so do call and reserve a table. Everything is made in-house. Bloody amazing taste. Definitely recommend for Fine dining.“
