“Food: only ordered vegetarian food and everything was amazing. Falafel was probably the softest I have ever had so far and the mezze sampler was also quite good. I'll recommend starting off with sampler and ordering anything you like as a separate dip. Street fries were also good. They have unlimited tea and the mint lemonade was super refreshing.

Service: this place has minimal interaction with servers as every table has a QR code to order food and pay when you order.

Atmosphere: divided into 3 parts outdoor, indoor and patio. Indoors is bright with open kitchen and patio is dark with plants, string lights and heaters. Sat in patio and loved the vibe.“

“Small restaurant right off Broadway. In town for jury duty and while on lunch took a stroll down Broadway looking for lunch. Didn't want a busy place cuz that's where everybody goes cuz it's there. So I see this spot on a small cross street and nobody there. Well that's where I'm going. Super friendly people. I got the combo kabob. Now I don't have much experience with Mediterranean food but I definitely liked it. Gonna have to try more similar spots when I go on my weekly adventures. He's been there for 14 years. Amazing.“

“Good halal food and good service. Casual setting. We had the lentil soup which was very good. We also had the tabouleh, the beef kebab plate and the lamb kebab plate. They were good. The meat was tender. To make the beef and lamb plates taste even better, suggest to use basmati rice and fresh pita bread. That would take the dish to a higher level.

“I went to Pronto Pizza with a friend on my birthday. I was telling her how good the ling cod fish and chips are there. So we drove down and was greeted by a kind and courteous employee. After ordering at the register and finding seating, food came out pretty fast. The Ling cod (4 pieces) was cooked too perfection, moist inside with a crispy outside, and the large cut fries were awesome and tasty! They have this house tartar sauce that is so good! A meal for two is around $45, with soda included. Also, their pizza is excellent, and they have many other items on their menu. I highly recommend Pronto Pizza!“

“Our favorite spot! Chris and his dad are the kindest people and make us feel special every time we come in. The food is delicious as well. We love the lentil soup, especially with lemon and hot sauce. The wraps are delicious, or if you want to share we recommend the kebab feast. All the meats are incredibly juicy and tender. The metropolous shrimp dish is tasty and filling as well. I haven't tried anything here I haven't loved!“

Decor was cute, BUT the window was open because it was super warm and there were a bunch of mosquitos. Made the dinner not so comfortable.

Server was not attentive, so no bad oe good review there.

Food: was eh. My falafel tasted a bit like burnt oil for my taste. BREAD was soo delicious because it was warm. Hummus was decent. Had to order a sidw of rice and it was the best thing I ate. The lemonade was fresh squeezed but toooo sweet.“

Everything they make is delicious, the hummus, their soups and especially their Gyro wrap & fries. This time I ordered thr Cream of Mushroom soup for my husband had surgery and can only soft foods right now. “I’ve been coming here weekly for years. Nur has a wide variety of tasty Turkish foods, from omelets & gyros & salmon salads to lamb kebabs & Nutella crepes. I highly recommend.

They take your order at the deli counter and you pay at the grocery checkout lane, then there is a little eating area in the front of the store. This is definitely a place u take ur date to.

If u have a girls night out, this is the place. Many times we been there, there's been those.

The staff is very patient knowledgeable. "Patient" is very important bcuz many of us aren't familiar with the food or culture. But there hasn't been any problems with anyone or food or hookah.

My date always asks to go here and I never turn her down.

Also, their hookah is decently priced. The same as other places i go to, to hookah.

If I come alone, my date considers it "cheating." ?

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“Both the chicken gyro and the beef-lamb gyro are good. If you get the salad rather than the plate, the salad portion is about double the side salad in the plate entree. It like a Greek salad with olives and feta as well in addition to cucumber and tomato.

They have covered outdoor seating. Service is light but friendly - you order and pay inside and they give you a number and bring out the food to you when it's ready.“

“I was visiting the area and found this place on Maps near my hotel. WOW what a find! It was hard making a decision, because everything on the menu sounded great. I got a kefta kebab plate: 3 big pieces of kefta on yellow rice with roasted veggies. It came with a nice salad with lots of finely chopped Persian cucumbers, and a very generous dollop of hummus. And, of course, a lovely big pita. This made dinner last night and lunch today. So yummy. If you like spice, say YES to the hot sauce! Tangy and delicious.

“I figured I've been here enough times that it was time to give a positive review to Nick the Greek. The food is always consistently good, service spot on and a great to go option. Never had a miss here. I appreciate having the ability to order online and pickup onsite. Deseerts are really good too. It's our go to place when we figuring out between cook something or pick up something. We've leaned more towards picking up and Nick the Greek hasn't let us down.

Vegetarian options: There are falafel, hummus and plenty of vegetarian salad options.

Parking: I usually find parking behind. San Carlos in general has inadequate parking space.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Plenty of space and casual dining. Outdoor tables as well.“

The combination of the pomegranate sauce with the meat was amazing and left us impressed. While they did not have a big selection of wines, the ones that they had were great. Our server, Abu, helped us find the right wine. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our needs were met promptly without being intrusive. He had a good sense of humor, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of professionalism and personality in service. “(Jun 2024) My group sat outside since we had a dog - it was a sunny, windless day and the table was in the shade.
My group got Mix Appetizer Platter to share and then we each ordered a wrap. I got the Doner Wrap which was ok. I liked the fries. The Mix Appetizer Platter was a good choice for variety but I only liked the hummus, yogurt, and eggplant appetizer. The bread was really good and warm when it was served - however, the amount of bread provided to us wasn't enough for our group of four and the amount of appetizer on the platter. We had to ask for more consistently - which the staff was happy to provide but it was somewhat annoying to keep asking. I think consumed four baskets of the bread.“
