“What a lovely addition to the stanford shopping center!
Among all the kebabs, the chicken kebab is our fav!
- chicken kebab
- classic hummus
- cucumber lemonade
- scrambled eggs with sausage (brunch item)
Chicken kebab is our favorite, we ordered many times, and each time is consistently good!
Classic hummus, great, who doesn’t love classic hummus!
The scrambled egg we hope it can be slightly larger in portion, but still very flavorful!
Oh and the cucumber lemonade is refreshing too!“

“Great food and even better service. I ordered the chicken kebab plate. It's a healthy portion. I also received a free cream of mushroom soup from the owner. He checked on me several times to see if I needed anything. I would highly recommend this place.“

“The decor and atmosphere is beyond beautiful along with the presentation 5/5 along with friendly waitresses who came by in the beginning but nobody followed up toward the end since it was self service menu online.
The Shawrma sandwich was 4/5
However the rice 🍚 plate with kabobs was 3/5, meat was decent but probably the worst rice I have tried at any restaurant. I just couldn’t eat, tasted stale something like you would taste from the previous day, I asked the server to get us another rice as it didn’t taste good as it seems like an old patch. He went back there and got me the same rice but warmer. I mean how bad can you mess up the rice. I would rather been told we don’t have any rice right now but we have a salad as alternative I would have took that than dealing with rice that I paid for and can’t eat.
I also go 2 sides of fries, 🍟 they were good but double fries killed the enjoyment of the potatoes. Either they double fry them or get them frozen pre fried which didn’t match the quality and standards this restaurant has been given.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t pay for the premium prices and lower quality again. I’ll probably get the chicken shawarma but that’s about it.“

“Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality made us feel like family. We started with the hummus and fresh pita, which was velvety smooth, and the lamb chops were grilled to perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned beautifully.
The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot for a date night or a catch-up with friends. Don’t skip the baklava for dessert; it’s easily the best I’ve ever had. Five stars all the way—we’ll definitely be back!“

“I’m not usually that kind of person that likes to leave reviews!! But this place is awesome !! Great food, clean place, third time here and will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area .“
“Very nice staff. Nice location, ambience.
Your food makes a bold statement. “You will have hot sauce in your hummus.” “Go ahead and try foam in your Margarita, it’s a little sour, but you should expand your horizons”. “There is something very strong in the bottom of the olive oil dish…..try it!”
No problem, I appreciate this.
Brussels sprouts were very tender, amazing, best I’ve ever had. Falafel a little dry. Puffed bread very nice.“

“Delicious, fresh ALWAYS food. Check out the hummus when made by the lady owner. It is the smoothest, most delicious I have ever eaten!“
“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit. For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“I've been here a few times and haven't had anything but great food, fast & friendly service. It can be busy so I'd recommend just one person in line per party, stay alert if they call your number (or just stay around). Plenty of seating if people sit when they have their food. Parking can be difficult. Healthy sided servings. If you eat meat the Jerusalem mix is yummy.“

“Hidden gem. It's inside a grocery store by the dips and meat pies section. Delicious meals that fill you up without breaking the bank. Sit at the outdoor dining area and see how many white Teslas you can count in a row as they drive down El Camino. My record is seven Teslas.“

“Very friendly staff that make a delicious beef kabob!
This is a great spot for either a quick bite or some authentic middle eastern dishes. While I am not a smoker, others enjoyed being able to get a hookah as well.
Since there is no smoking indoors, it was safe for taking kids as well.“

“I stopped by this Turkish café for what was supposed to be just a quick coffee, but once I saw they also served dinner, I decided to stay and eat.
I started with a traditional Turkish coffee and a slice of Revani, their classic semolina cake. The coffee came in the usual small cup, strong and bold, brewed in true Mediterranean style — simple and excellent. The Revani was moist and soaked in sugar syrup, topped with crushed pistachios. Sweet but not overpowering, it had a delicate aroma and almost reminded me of an Indian-style syrupy dessert. The portion was generous, so I ended up finishing it in two rounds.
For dinner, I ordered a Turkish flatbread topped with what tasted like a sliced beef sausage, cheese - somewhat pizza-like in appearance, but distinctly different in flavor and texture. It was filling and satisfying, though a bit greasy, especially underneath, likely from the cheese and meat. Thankfully, it was served with a fresh side salad of lettuce, tomato, and lemon, which added brightness and balance to the meal.
They have a wide variety of Turkish and Mediterranean pastries and desserts, and I’d definitely return to explore more - maybe even try a proper Turkish breakfast next time.
The café has a large dining room, and when I visited, part of it seemed pre-booked for Ramadan gatherings with set meals. I sat in a side corner and enjoyed my food. Service was a bit slow, I had to ask a few times for basic things like a fork and napkins, but overall, the vibe was warm and lively.
Food-wise, I really enjoyed it, and I’m definitely going back for more. Highly recommended if you enjoy exploring different cuisines and Mediterranean flavors.“

“When it comes down to Mediterranean food, I would fall into Mazra. However, Mazra now has a worthy rival! What's unique about a smaller restaurant like Nomadic Kitchen is that you feel the place more intimated. I like how the owner/manager and server take a great care of us. When we are about to order 4 choices of mezze, the owner/manager said he will take care of the choices for us and give us samples of everything else as well. The result: the beautiful palette of colors and flavors! I was a bit surprised that we got bread rather than pita. Still, it was amazing! We got the grilled lamb, which is quite nice, no hard-to-chew pieces at all. On top of that, the rice and bulgar (I guess) are so delicious with different fragrance and texture. The dishes are well thought out and so healthy as well. This place becomes one of the most amazing Mediterranean restaurants with reasonable prices. I definitely will come back and eat there again.“

“Thumbs up:
- Easy, free parking
- Classy, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere
- Attentive and friendly service
- Steak was cooked as requested and with a nice chimichurri sauce
Meh:
- The accompanied shoestring potatoes were literally potato chips in shoestring format; really didn't pair well with the steak. Some veggies or polenta would have been much better.
- The key lime cheesecake was fine but not particularly tangy or memorable.
- Ow the lunch pricing. $60 after tax and tip for the steak entree + dessert (no drink), but this *is* in a hotel, so I wasn't terribly surprised.“

“I went there yesterday for the first time and it instantly became my new favorite spot in Menlo Park
staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful. they took the time to explain the menu, made great recommendations, and just had the warmest energy the whole time. You can really feel they care about their guests.
And the food? Out of this world. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor the hummus was silky and perfectly seasoned, the pomegranate kebabs were tender and juicy with that amazing mix of flavor, and don’t even get me started on the baklava… best I’ve had in ages. Portions were generous too.“

“Wonderful Sunday lunch last week. The fried cauliflower florets starter was great. Nicely fried, not greasy with a good thick pesto labane sauce. We loved the muhamarra with the fried pita strips. Had some the next day and it was still fantastic. The chicken pita sandwich was good. My chickpea salad was tasty, but I wasn’t expecting the chickpeas to be so firm. The chocolate babka was great, not too sweet. The staff was attentive and the service was prompt. Nice atmosphere too, casual and welcoming.“

“Falafel Taza is one of those places that instantly feels right the moment you walk in. Family-owned, warm, welcoming, and proudly serving authentic Lebanese food that’s clearly made with care and tradition.
The food is straight-up delicious. The falafel is crisp on the outside, fluffy and flavorful on the inside not dry, not greasy, just perfect. Everything tastes fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully seasoned. You can tell these recipes weren’t rushed or copied they’re passed down, practiced, and respected.
What really seals it is the vibe. There’s a genuine, homegrown family energy here friendly faces, real conversations, and people who actually care that you enjoy your meal. It doesn’t feel transactional; it feels personal.
If you’re craving Lebanese food that’s comforting, authentic, and consistently hits, Falafel Taza is an easy go-to. Simple, soulful food done right the kind of spot you’re happy to support again and again.“

“I ordered my lunch from this place through Uber Eats, and the pork gyro was absolutely fantastic. It arrived hot and freshly made, with everything perfectly balanced — tender, well-seasoned meat wrapped in warm pita bread along with fresh tomatoes, onions, tzatziki, and fries. The portion size was just right — filling without feeling overly heavy. I really loved it and would definitely order again.
To finish the meal, I also tried their frozen yogurt with honey and baklava. The portion was a bit large for me, but the yogurt itself tasted genuinely like yogurt rather than being overly sweet or sugar-loaded. The addition of honey and baklava added a nice layer of flavor and richness. Next time, I might try the plain yogurt for a lighter option.
Update: went back for a gyro bowl. Very feeling and refreshing. Finished the meal with some Greek style donuts. They were warm and soft and very little on sweet, although soaked in syrup. A must try.“

“Right next to the Starbucks I had passed it by many times. I finally decided to try it.
Ordered my food at the counter and found a nice table outdoors. Food was served at my table and was perfect. I very nice presentation and the flavor was excellent.
Pricing was fair - it is downtown Los Altos but it was a good value for the money.
Outside was clean and the traffic going by was entertaining but not distracting. Interior seating was well planned but this day the weather was so nice I couldn't seat inside. I order a gyros and it was flavored well. Proportion was great and I even took a little home for a late night snack. Will be returning. oh and brought me warm tea at the end of my supper, very nice touch.“
