“We came to SAJJ with a small group of coworkers, and it was fast, friendly, and tasty. I had a shawafel rice bowl (shawarma and falafel) and all of the toppings I had them put on were great. I also liked the mint lemonade! I'd be happy to come back for a quick meal some time.“

“This is a superb Mediterranean restaurant in Palo Alto. The food, service, and the ambience are all very nice. For appetizers, we ordered the eggplant which was incredibly flavorful, although a bit on the heavy side. For my main dish I ordered house combo plate, which came with a combination of chicken kebab, beef kebab, lamb and beef gyros, served with rice and a salad. Surprisingly, the chicken kebab were the best ones -- just amazing flavors, although I pretty much enjoyed everything. Very polite and courteous staff -- a definite place to return to.“

“This place deserve few Michelin stars ?The steak was amazing. Kudos to the chef.Don't forget to order lamb shank. It's great.Parking is paid off street and may struggle to find one. It's right in the Redwood City downtown. Ambience is good. Not a lot of seating so do call and reserve a table. Everything is made in-house. Bloody amazing taste. “One of our favorite local restaurants in Palo Alto. The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Favorite dish is the grilled white fish salad -- perfectly seasoned and grilled. Light and delicious. We love the frozen yogurt, not too sweet -- the best froyo around! And their fries are thin, perfectly salted and like a cleaner version of McDonald fries. Decor is Mediterranean modern and chic. Lots of outdoor seating and super friendly service. Love this place !“

“We visited this place on a rainy Saturday evening and we were the only customers. We ordered Vegetarian Skewers with Pesto Sauce and Vegetarian Combo Plate.The skewers were small in portion size and it didn't come with the pesto sauce. Not the best skewers we have had but manageable.The Vegetarian Combo Plate had small portion too except the romaine lettuce. The food was fresh but we have had better falafels than these. The hummus and babagonush were tasty but had some sort of funny smell(probably from cooked meats in same kitchen).We wished portion size was bigger but may be it's because of inflation.We also had Baklava which was very sweet and all we could taste was sweet syrup.We would not order it again.This place is good for quick bites.“

The meal started with warm, soft bread accompanied by a delicious olive infused dipping oil bursting with flavor. “Wow!! Super delicious!! Went with a group of 6 friends and everyone loved the the food!! Lots of fantastic vegetarian options. I ordered the Mjadra and we shared the Fattoush salad, tabouleh, and pickles. My friends also got the veggie combo and falafel wrap.I had a different salad which came with my mjadra and both that salad and the Fattoush salad had crazy yummy dressing. I loved them so much I asked if they sold the dressing separately to go and she said they didn't but she gave me a generous portion of each to take home with me...no charge!!“

“While in the Los Altos downtown, we were looking for a spot to eat and found this on Yelp. It was a nice find. We enjoyed the food on the hot day and sat outside under the umbrellas on the benches. I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it was very good and fresh. It came with few pieces of bread on the side. The service was great. I would recommend!“

Would definitely go again for the meats.Service was a bit tricky with a few different waiters taking orders and bringing stuff, sometimes mixing things up. The rice, hummus, and side cucumber salad are extremely complimentary and flavorful. If you love a lot of flavors, order the mixed grill and prepare to be blown away. Oh, and here's another zinger. “We catered a meal for 100 people for a big event this past weekend, and I worked with Ashvee to make this happen. First of all, she was wonderful and super helpful. The food was ready on time, huge portions and the meal was amazing. The chicken shawarma was excellent!! We had so many people compliment the food. The falafel was delicious and the sauces (Tzatziki, Lemony Tahini Sauce and Spicy Sauce) were so good. I don't even live in PA but I am definitely making the drive down to get more of it.
