“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

The owner even came by to offer some amazing wines! One of the few places that is open late in Menlo to hang out in.“

“I have to say, they have one of the best Authentic Pupusas I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. I am very picky with my food and I got to say man, they make one of the best if not the best pupusas in the entire Bay Area. They also offer quite the variety of food! “Fun atmosphere. Looks like they have a bar too for beer if you’re into that. The Taco Trio
was good. The carnitas, pollo verde & pollo asado were tasty. Mango was a choice of toppings and that made the tacos for me. The corn tortillas were heated up on a flat grill that made them a little chewy. I prefer a softer corn tortilla. Staff could have been a little more welcoming and friendly. 🥰

I was a little frustrated because I asked form my order to eat in but my food was out in a to go tray with a stupid plastic lid. The server had trouble understanding me. When in heck is there going to be leadership in this country to help with reducing plastic consumption? I’m so SICK of plastic! 🤮

What I liked the most was the early evening shade and the cool summer breeze on the outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. That’s the best on a hot summer day! BTW, are you contributing to any of the Democrats trying to flip seats in the house and senate? All it takes is a few bucks from each of us! 👍
