“I loved the atmosphere! Comfortable couches, electric outlets, the piano! Food is alright: the salmon pasta was huge and the salmon yummy, the BLT sandwich had over fried bacon that was hard to chew, the pastry tasted good but was cold and a bit soggy. The Matcha latte used the syrup instead of actual matcha :(It's not bad for a college cafeteria but the prices are not justified“

“It was absolutely delicious. My only pick is the cost of the food, but what do I expect as a visitor of Stanford. Anyways, I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, 5/5.The restaurant feels a lot like a street food place; a bit more hidden from the eyes of the public.“

“Two weeks back I was at Stanford when I visited Coupa cafe for lunch. I had vanilla frappe and avocado panini sandwich with salad greens. The portions are sufficient and it was quickly made even if lines tend to get long on warm days even on weekends. Overall a good option for a quick bite. It would be nice if Coupa team could reduce unnecessary plastic and find ways to use sustainable packaging and cutlery.“

Coupa Cafe Buzz Pickup Cafe • $$
600 Crothers Way, Stanford

“Came here on a weekend to meet with old college friends. We ordered coffee and a meal and sat at the table nearby. I got one of the Chais (the first Chai on the menu) and liked it as always. Beef arepa was new to me, and I think it's pretty decent. I like how the shop is now decorated with Christmas ornaments, and it feels really good to sit and chat casually with good food/coffee/tea and friends as company!“

Coupa Cafe - Huang Engineering Center Cafe • $

“This little spot was a very nice surprise. I have been spending a lot of time at the Stanford Hospital caring a family member and the cafeteria food can get very redundant. I love that this little cafe is about a halfmile walk, or a mile walk to and from total to the hospital. I merely ordered a small cappuccino. the food looked very good and they seemed to always have quite a few people enjoying their food outside. It is easy to miss. There is a very cool public sculpture of giant stone globes from around the world in the outside area in front of the cafe. If you see those stones you know you're in the right area. The arepas, salads, and sandwiches others were eating all looked very good.“

Tootsie's at the Cantor Arts Center Coffee & Tea • $

“I had an early lunch at this cafe inside the Cantor Arts Center @ Stanford. This is a great choice for a casual lunch or a refreshing drink while on campus. I learned this cafe is part of Tootsie Barn, a popular dining spot close by. My tuna panino served on a ciabatta roll and with a side of fresh arugula was absolutely delicious. Ample seatings both indoors and alfresco are available. Clean and lots of natural light for comfortable experience.“

“My lab mates and I came here for lunch as part of our exploration to try all the various restaurants on campus. This restaurant has quite the selection of BBQ (including some vegetarian options!) and even several beer options both on tap and bottled. Quite funny there's alcoholic options at a restaurant on Stanford's campus considering that Stanford's football stadium doesn't sell any alcohol at all!I opted for some classic options, so I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries. For the price, the sandwich was incredibly large and filling. It was packed with a generous amount of both pulled pork and cole slaw. The pulled pork was decent, but the bbq sauce present added immensely to the flavor. They also provided quite a lot of fries as well, and it made for a very filling lunch experience - one of better food options on campus! Cost:-Pulled pork sandwich = $10-Side of fries = $5“
