Oak + Violet is a hidden gem in Menlo Park, offering an outstanding dining experience. The Firemelon dish is a burst of flavors, while the steak is cooked to perfection. The outdoor seating area with live music adds to the inviting ambiance. The impeccable service and delicious food, like the Brie cheese, make it worth the price. The new menu is outstanding, with a nice selection of wines by the glass and beer. The gnocchi pomodoro and the mushroom flatbread are highly recommended. Guests can enjoy their meal on the uncrowded patio, which is perfect for families with little ones. The tuna crudo starter was just really pretty and so tasty, with a bacon twist in the flavor. The miso glazed black cod was delectable. The cinnamon roll sundae was at least as good as it sounds.
