“If you come here expecting fancy cuts of super exotic fish, you’ll probably be disappointed. However, if you come with an open mind to try different types of fish each seasoned and dressed slightly differently to complement the flavors and also to cater to a less ‘traditional’ palette, then Robin can be a fun experience. We set our price point at around $140 and was served a good amount of food we felt full after. Our server confirmed our dietary restrictions and preferences, and was able to customize each piece to cater to everyone. My favorite piece was probably the uni wagyu seaweed crunch. We came for a work dinner and ended up finishing 3 bottles of sake and had a great time. We were probably responsible for destroying the ambiance as we probably got abnoxiously loud towards the end. Good option for date night or for an expensive company dinner :P”

“Great value for the price! I had the octopus for an appetizer and the salmon for my main course, and both were delicious. The salmon came with roasted vegetables, which I really appreciated since I don’t eat salads. The only thing I wish they offered was a gluten-free rice option without the orzo.

The service was wonderful—everyone who took care of us was incredibly friendly and nice. It was a hot evening, and our server was highly attentive, constantly refilling our water without us ever having to ask.”

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!”

“I wasn't expecting much honestly since most places around here are overpriced for no reason, but this place totally proved me wrong. The gnocchi was perfectly fluffy and the sauce had this rich tomato flavor that I still cant stop thinking about. My friend ordered the salmon and it was cooked so well I almost wished I ordered that instead, almost though because my dish was that good. The waiter was super patient while we took forever deciding and even brought out extra bread without us asking. I actually said to my friend on the drive home that this made my whole week better. Definetely gonna come back and try more off the menu, probably next month for a lazy dinner.”

The banana cocktail is insanely good (bananas 4 burma), so is the pina colada (forget the name).

The food is also good hear but maybe not the best Burmese overall. The tea leaf salad is massive and delicious.

“So many creative and yummy options! We were lucky and able to get a same day reservation at 5:15 pm on a Friday.

Service is impeccable and it looked like there was more staff than tables when we arrived but over the course of dinner, as the rest filled up, it made more sense.

We loved the custard appetizer. So smooth with great textures and flavors from the potato, fish roe and everything else in the bowl.

The lasagna was very unexpected yet delicious with layers and ground meat.

The pawns had great flavor and we liked the sausages and tomatoes it came with. I also love that the bodies were de-shelled as already.

The cold noodle was very interesting with the foam. It's a very mild flavor so this dish is more about the presentation and textures.

The scallops were fresh but not that interesting. I love Hokkaido scallops but I prefer them raw. This cook was good, just not that interesting.

The spicy hot tofu soup was fine. It didn't feel different or elevated from what I've had at other places and a touch too salty for our tastes.

There's plenty to try on the menu and would have loved to try the kalbi but our bill was quite pricey already.

I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, it's a great treat and dining experience.”

“Hand-pulled pan-fried noodles is one of my favorite dishes. I get it at every restaurant that sells it. This restaurant had the best version of that dish I have ever had, by a considerable margin. I have never written a google restaurant review before, but the food was so good that it motivated me to write one.

It was like every ingredient was the best version of that ingredient and all the ingredients were all put together into one symphony of flavor. I was reminded of the first time I heard the Beatles.”

I would dine in there more often, but there is no table service and I like table service. I don’t like to go up and order from my counter.
And take a number and then you have to go get your food and take care of all your little condiments and everything that you might want. It takes away the joy of eating out. It’s too bad they don’t consider having later service at the tables. I’m sure everybody would be much happier. I hear people complaining about it while they’re dining.

First time diner, long time consumer. I made a rookie mistake while ordering the vegetarian sandwich on sourdough. French or dutch crunch roll is recommended. Said I was open to suggestions. Then we added avocado, fresh jalapeno, tapatio, and a side of fries.

I ate half the fries and the smaller cut of the sandwich. I'm excited to be hungry again in about two hours.”

We enjoyed the **Garden Omelette** with fresh veggies and Monterey Jack cheese, the flavorful **Veggie Breakfast Burrito** with feta and pico de gallo, and a refreshing **Seasonal Yogurt Parfait**. The **Breakfast Sandwich** with ham, avocado, and aged cheddar on a toasted croissant was a highlight. The friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. The customer service is A1 friendly and personable staff. U can choose indoor or outdoor dining either choice is a win. This place is clean and the food was better than expected tbh. The steak salad with the lemon vinegrette 😋 The chicken Marsala is definitely my favorite I drive 20minutes out of my way to get it at least twice a week I promise its a must try! I went there for business the first time and now I find its a great place for a 1st date as well😉 The pizza is great as well which they offer by the slice or whole. “This was my first time ever going to this particular Phill's coffee shop and I didn't know if you downloaded the app you got a free upgrade!! Which was perfect because I was getting a coffee for my aunt who is the grandmother of a four year-old and a one year-old!! She definitely needed an iced mocha to help her out and give her the extra push through the afternoon of watching/raising her own grandchildren!!

As I ordered from the barista, I wanted to initially get the tiramisu latte, but I was worried it was going to be too sweet for my aunt. Since there's so many different combos of drinks and coffee roast at Phill's that you can make up your own drink within their guidelines, I didn't know I could order a simple iced mocha! Lol. The barista that helped me was very understanding and helpful so I just ended up getting an irregular iced mocha!!

I got a free upgrade with the app and I was very impressed!! I also loved the little bakery outside to the left of this particular Phill's coffee shop! I was able to get my niece a little oatmeal cookie and check out my review on Blue Sky bakery!! Hee”

What I liked the most was the early evening shade and the cool summer breeze on the outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. That’s the best on a hot summer day!
