This was my first time at their Menlo Park location and aside from the space everything else is similar--Instagram-worthy decor, elegantly styled dishes, and warm service. The interior is quite spacious with booths and tables for small and large parties. There's also an outside patio, though the CalTrain is right across and quite loud. We were taken care of throughout our meal by the hospital and friendly workers, without it being overbearing. The thing about Farmhouse Kitchen is that they know how to make their dishes appealing to both the eye and mouth. Dishes include traditional and non-traditional Thai foods. My friend and I both had the Yellow Curry with Tofu and a Side of Jasmine Rice. Though we weren't asked for the spice level, the curry was sweet and flavorful with a lingering spice. It was on the runnier side and I wish we did get more rice to enjoy it to the full extent. Portions were decent and we had leftovers--but note that dishes are on the pricier side. Farmhouse Thai Kitchen provides a cute and creative Thai cuisine dining experience. They have multiple locations around the Bay. Their Menlo Park location is off Merrill Street with limited street parking in the area. This is a place I enjoy going to occasionally but wouldn't seek out.“

Even though the restaurant was busy, they were able to move us to a more appropriately sized table. The service by Escardo was fantastic. The food was provided in a timely fashion, and all the food served was properly prepared and was delicious. We have eaten at the Left Bank in Menlo Park many times and the consistency in service and food cooked has been always on the mark. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was a combination of all different types of food around Italy. She told us the menu is always changing depending on seasonal ingredients. The wine is all Italian as well and the chef is from northern Italy we were told. The atmosphere was amazing. Great vibe in there and it was packed on a Wednesday night. Our server, Fleur, was so knowledgeable about the food and the wine and gave us wonderful recommendations for the perfect wines to compliment the various courses. The seafood dish with different kinds was really good, especially the shrimp. The tacos cost $6 each, which seemed a lot, but they tasted great. The chips were the best part—they were not greasy and very crunchy. They gave us two kinds of sauce; the green one was the best. The cold beer was also really good with the food. Even though I expected something a bit different, we liked it a lot and want to go back to try more dishes.“

I have tried their tamales, chili relleno, black beans, pinto beans, rice, grilled chicken, quesadilla, pico, guacamole, and the provided chips and salsa. All of the flavors are excellent. The green sauce and masa of the tamale, and the firm aged relleno cheese filling were outstanding.Indoors is Mexican music, while outdoors there is traffic noise. The tortilla chips are the thin triangle bagged kind. The restroom has an old sink and fixtures. But the custom artwork, high ceilings with paper fiesta decor and painted furniture are classic south of the border. The seats are all flat wood, no cushions. No sauce bar or extra hot sauce present. Will need another visit to try the mole.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas are great.“

It's got a pool table in the back. There's a little stage for local talents. The owner is super cool. He completely supports local entertainment and arts. He's really easy to work with. The bar keeps are all chill and easy to get along with. Tiffani is so sweet and has such a good heart. Dan has been so helpful and has gone out of his way to make the experience here. “This was another adventure for dinner thanks to a Yelp search. I didn't realize the menu concept, or I missed it while checking out the menu online. But, I am glad that it all worked out.Visiting Belmont, we decided to choose this restaurant. I loved that they had hot dogs, sausages, and hamburgers. I am not vegetarian, but there were quite a few options for those who are not meat eaters.As we entered, I heard talking, laughter and the football game. The person who took our order shared with me his suggestions and I went for them. I had the chili cheese tots and the Holy Aoli burger. Didn't realize that all burgers are sliders. My burger was actually 4 sliders! One patty with 4 Hawaiian rolls as buns...yum. I asked for extra green onions on my chili tots, which were plentiful. My mother in love ordered their special Thanksgiving sausage, and my husband had the Reservoir Hog. I yell you, the menu is unique as it is good. Who would have thought that no hormone or antibiotic added meats could be reasonable priced and tasty. I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and our ability to grab our own condiments, too.“

“Redwood Grill is my favorite place to go. The staff there makes me feel so welcomed, they already know how we like our food and our favorite drinks. I like to escape with my husband and have our time together. Sometimes to watch a sports game, sometimes to talk about business, or to have a date night. Other times I bring the whole family and even my friends after a PTO meeting. I have celebrated several family events at both locations. This restaurant has become a tradition to me. My favorite dish is the beet salad with a nice grilled salmon on top. My kids love the wings and bacon burger. My favorite drink is called “By the fire” this isn’t on the menu but sometimes I get spoiled and they prepare for me. I hope you can enjoy this restaurant as much as we do.“

“A lovely meal. The chef is super creative in the use of vegetables and original sauces. Nice selection of wines by the glass, which our server was happy to let me taste before ordering. Highly recommend the cauliflower starter and the chickpea risotto, which were quite exceptional. The baked cod however was a bit too salty. And we needed to order some bread to cleanse our palate afterwards. They did offer to remake the fish which was thoughtful, but it would have interrupted the flow of our dinner at that stage. That said, it was a great experience overall. And don't skip the s'mores desert!“
