“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“First time dining at Valley Goat and the food was excellent! Our kind waitress gave us suggestions and they all hit (with the exception of the desserts which were just ok). Don't miss the hamachi dip or the lamb shank.
It's a very pretty restaurant with great lighting and decor and a nice hum of a vibe. It is a bit loud so not great if you are with a large group or looking for a more intimate experience.
Our waitress started off amazing. But by the 4th hour (we were not intending to still be here by then) things just kept getting slower and slower and we had to constantly look around for her to clear our table, wipe it down and provide a dessert menu for the birthday girls we were celebrating. I'm not sure what went wrong but it was too long.
Either way, I would go back and give it another try.“

“An exceptional culinary experience at Protégé in Palo Alto. Every dish showcased masterful technique and impeccable flavors. The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. The lobster toast was crisp, buttery, and indulgent, and the Black Bass—flawless in execution—was the best I’ve encountered. The Ricotta Dumplings , delicate yet deeply flavorful, rounded out an unforgettable meal. The shigoku oysters with whipped ponzu were indescribably fresh and flavorful. The sunflower Caesar, with its preserved tomato jam, was a unique and unforgettable twist on a classic. As for the brick chicken that we took to go, it was so delicious that it barely made it home before being devoured. The experience was elevated even further by the outstanding service—every person was kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to creating a memorable evening. “MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++“

“My wife & I had Sekoya's 3-yr anniversary prix fixe meal. Everything just plain delicious. The Bavette steak was killer, the burrata starter excellent. My wife loved her yellowtail starter and halibut main. The butterscotch and watermelon desserts were delish. I brought a bottle and was treated to excellent wine service, beautiful glassware, with a (by today's standards) very reasonable $35 corkage. Sekoya is now on our radar, and we'll be back!“

“Walked in on Saturday night, had the caviar, a sazerac cocktail, and my wife had a custom gin and tonic.
Service is exceptional, and the live music was phenomenal. They have many custom drinks, and the seafood is fresh. You can dress down or dress up and feel welcome. I highly recommend this as a stop. Check the website for music schedule!“

“My all-time favorite watering hole in not just downtown Los Gatos, but the South Bay. I grew up in the area and I make it a point to always stop in for a small pitcher of Kamikaze’s!! Despite a lot of changes in Ole Town Los Gatos over the last 40+ years, the Black Watch is still a staple and I highly recommend stopping in for great service, welcoming and traditional atmosphere and of course, awesome beverages. “I’m in town for a few days and, as usual, I love finding interesting, culturally authentic restaurants. and I landed here!
Oh my gosh…the sausage, the sauerkraut, the schnitzel, and yep, the strudel! Every bite took me right back to my Grandma Dorothy’s table. ❤
Everything was absolutely spot-on and delicious, and the service was wonderful. There’s just something special about food that doesn’t only taste good, it brings back memories.

Service - Great service. She came in to check in on us at right intervals. Not too many, not too little. Service was genuine and wasn’t over the top which was very comfortable.
Food - tasted delicious. Portion was small. Price is decent for most items. Food came quickly.
Overall - a pleasant experience. While portions are small, when accounting for the vibe, aesthetic atmosphere, and service, I would come back again, especially for celebrations.“

“Scarlett’s is such a great addition to the neighborhood! The drinks are beautifully made and so well balanced, but guys… THE FOOD. Incredible. The sliders, corn riblets, and fish & chips are all must-orders for me, and if I could get the Green Kiss by the pitcher, I absolutely would.
I love coming back time and time again because they’re always so consistent. The live music and ambiance make it such a perfect spot for a date night, and I’m already planning my next visit!“

“Been hitting Normandy House a few weeks while on a temp gig in Santa Clara—in from cowboy country where a solid where a still shot is sometimes mandatory after a long day.
The Pareto thing always cracks me up: 20% of people do 80% of the work, and 80% of the gripes come from the other 20% like some clown reviews here. But everybody here has been super cool to this out-of-towner.
Trin especially—she makes a killer Long Island, best around and always keeps things chill.
Great spot, 5 stars easy. Gonna miss it when I head home.“

“My partner and I have finally found a place to watch early morning English Championship matches in San Jose!
Jack’s coffee and tea is pretty darn good and their ginger beer is A+. The staff is really warm and welcoming. They put a couple of TVs on just for us to watch the matches. We were the only folks in the place for the early morning matches and the midday matches are pretty quiet as well.
Extra bonus for it being pet friendly! Our dog was super pleased with his whole family sports adventure.
Next time, we may order breakfast or lunch to be delivered.“

“Genuinely a great spot for Mexican breakfast and definitely belongs among the better brunch options in the area. Their chilaquiles are distinctive, and we tried a few different variations. The verde was a little dry and needed more salsa and flavor, but the California chilaquiles more than made up for it! They combine red and green salsa and were easily the best and most unique version we tried. Adding protein can make the meal fairly expensive compared with other spots, and wait times are long during peak hours, but it’s still worth trying. Mix Huevos feels like a place where the food speaks for itself rather than relying heavily on hype or marketing.“

“A bit of a hidden gem, off MTV main strip, inside a hotel so you won't just see it from the street. The food was really good and so were the cocktails, the ambiance is classy although it has a bit of that hotel lounge look. It was quite empty for a Friday evening, seems a bit underrated, maybe because of the location.“

“We visited with friends and ordered Tandoori Veg Momo, Avocado Chaat, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken. The Tandoori Momo tasted rich and fresh. The Garlic Naan came soft and had a unique flavor. Everything arrived hot and well prepared. We plan to return soon with our office team.“
