We opted for indoor window seating but there is ample and comfortable outdoor seating, as well. The Wiener Schnitzel was tender, the Eggs Benedict tasty, the arugula salad fresh. Next time I will try the Jäger Schnitzel. The Sacher Torte was perfect! We were treated to extra birthday desert--without asking for it--which was a thoughtful gesture. Naschmarkt was spotless clean, and the kitchen ventilation works well. It is very suitably located at the quieter side of California Avenue, close to public parking.“

The food truly stood out and everything we ordered was spectacular: black sesame toast (recommend asking for more black sesame paste and sauce), truffle egg sando, sweet potato fries, and fried chicken. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!!
