“Great pizza and love the green sauce that goes on top. Really makes this place stand out. Wish they had this flavor of pizza (potato, corn, onion) every day instead of a specialty. The waffle fries were also delicious! Service was fast - but it was a bit pricey for pizza, I am guessing because its a nicer place rather than a dominoes. Located in the new "downtown" fremont. Ambiance was good! We were the only ones in there - but i think it would be a nice place for a happy hour (if fremont nightlife ever picks up LOL)“

“One of many Korean restaurants in the Bay Area we had to try on our list. This one had a good list of choices and their dishes were pretty big except the chicken wings which always seem to always take the longest to cook. The garlic wings were good but some pieces so tiny that they should not count towards the fifteen pieces. The seafood pancake was good flavor and good size. I really liked the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork and Premium LA Kalbi. The Steamed Egg had no flavor and it had too much soup in it which I thought was weird. We ordered sodas and their Lychee Cocktail for twenty bucks which was a carafe pitcher size. It was pretty good and strong; nothing fancy. We also ordered Bibimap which was pretty big.Choice this Korean restaurant for mom's bday and was satisfied. The prices were on the expensive side. Not a place for a date as it's loud here but good for groups and drinking. Service is ok. They forgot one of our items but at least, they didn't charge us; we did have a big group though. Haha they even told us politely that we had to go as they had awaiting customers. The place is small, and can get crowded fast so I recommend to come early but lots of parking available.“

“This is one of the most excellent places I've visited in a long time. Unknowingly, I arrived during happy hour and was able to enjoy ordering drinks and food from it's Happy Hour Menu. The drinks and appetizers were all delicious and were enjoyed by all. The table reservation system worked flawlessly and they were even able to accommodate a last minute increase to the number of seats needed. They greeted us all with a warm and welcoming demeanor and promptly started recommending items and taking our orders. Our table was neatly awaiting us and water pitchers were refilled constantly. The staff was attentive and friendly. Pre-busing was obviously encouraged so we always felt our table was comfortable, orderly, and clean as our party enjoyed the drinks and appetizers. The entries were all enjoyed by our party and each claimed to have "the tastiest" choice. I was happy visiting this restaurant for the first time. I will be back for this and the many other choice restaurants that are around it.Thank you for a wonderful experience. We were meeting with out-of-town family and we could not have been happier with our choice of where to meet and enjoy a good time.“

Natasha is an amazing waitress who should do a training seminar around the country on how to treat guest, knowing the place that you work for and the food they serve because she was absolutely amazing with suggestions and service. Even the chef came out to great us and apologize for the wait to get our food. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY. “It's a Friday night. Decided to stop by here before picking up the stepsons from OAK airport. Their flight was delayed. We got here around 10:30 pm. We got parking right across the street. The place was still relatively empty except for folks at the bar. Apparently it's Karaoke night. Some guy was singing "My way" I kid you not (see the video below). The lady and I got a good table. The place filled up within 30 minutes. The clientele reflects the community around San Leandro. Quite diverse. Staff seemed to know the table of bikers that came in. Atmosphere is chill, despite the loud bangers between karaoke songs. DJ was cuttin' it up with Yay Area club classics. We had the lumpia and the lemon pepper strips. Lady had Diet Coke while I had a pint of Sierra Nevada. The staff is friendly and attentive.“

“Carlos is an amazing guy. They have 10 beers on taps: with favorites like 805, Sierra Nevada, and even Guinness. And many more in bottles. If you like it they also have Fernet! The back yard is open, mostly covered, and great. It's also close to the hotels for those who are traveling and want a great dive bar to visit after work or fun. TouchTunes, darts, and a pool table. For what seems to be a hole in the wall, there is a great amount of space inside and outside. Go, have a fun night, and tip your bar tender!“

“Have eaten here quite a few times with good food, however, my last visit was below average. We had the trout clam chowder which was just ok, not hugely tasty and the tikka massala which was a bit bland. The flatbread/naan was a bit underdone and the truffle didn’t really go with the dish.I think it may just have been a one off because it’s usually good but prices are not cheap so I expect more every time not just most of the time.“

I recognized the noodles only because it was what I ordered, but I could see any of the other food. It was disturbing since I ordered with specific removal of items. There are always large groups, they are always as loud as possible.“

Middle 8 Bar • $$
310 Main St D, Pleasanton - 9.82 miles

“FINALLY a spot in downtown Pleasanton that stays open past 10 pm! Thank Goodness. Dancing, chillin, catching up with friends and making new ones is now possible at a later hour. This is often where we all end up after the brew crawls, or birthday dinners. They have nice seating, photo ops, clean restrooms, and tasty beverages. I always have fun, and I want to give this spot 5 stars- but I will say that the service is so hot and cold. I don't mean that there is a wait when they're busy, I mean that there is a wait if you're unlucky enough to get one of the stuck up bartenders. Twice now I've had the same arrogant self absorbed dbag sort of stare past me with no interest in taking my beverage request whatsoever. I don't think that every bartender has to give me a kiss on the cheek and do a cartwheel when we walk in, but that smug attitude is so unnecessary. I know that sometimes drunk people can be a little extra, but you chose this job. They're not all unfriendly, some are awesome, and I'll only tip the ones who are decent from now on. The Middle 8 has a smaller bar for private parties. We were there last night for my friend's birthday. Our bartender was great, and some of the other guys should take notes from him.“

Dinah's Poolside Restaurant American • $$

“We had a really nice evening dining and walking around afterwards inside the hotel areas. The fact that the restaurant name has “poolside” in it got our attention and we were looking for American cuisine on Google. Once we approached the restaurant it really lightened up our eyes, the environment is nearly perfect. If you want to sit indoors you have warm places with fair lighting, if you want to sit near the pool you can as well. The foods are just delicious and of fair price. Truffle fries are the best! I would recommend this restaurant and maybe this hotel (without being a hotel guest) to anyone who visits Palo Alto or just want to dine in the area.Thai style and the ambience are a plus!“

However, we really enjoyed the food and the service was particularly good. I had a the 20oz prime steak and it was cooked perfectly - yum!
