Supports local comedy. Karaoke. Pool table. Fun vibe. I have been to the Plaza so many times, and I would've never thought that I would find a bar like this in the middle of this Plaza. It's got a pool table in the back. There's a little stage for local talents. The owner is super cool. He completely supports local entertainment and arts. He's really easy to work with. This place has such incredible vibes! Everyone is so kind and welcoming-- from the staff to the patrons. They have giant Jenga for free, a pool table for $1, and karaoke twice a week. The drinks are good and a really fair price for the Bay Area. I love this place can't recommend it enough!

If you like cozy dive bars that are clean, relatively quiet, have a great selection of liquor and friendly service, Blue Max Lounge is the spot for you!The service is atypical for dive bars. There is a pool table as well as a juke box (which isn't terribly loud).Good spot to stop by, late afternoon.
