Sekoya Lounge & Kitchen Reviews
My wife & I had Sekoya's 3-yr anniversary prix fixe meal. Everything just plain delicious. The Bavette steak was killer, the burrata starter excellent. My wife loved her yellowtail starter and halibut main. The butterscotch and watermelon desserts were delish. I brought a bottle and was treated to excellent wine service, beautiful glassware, with a (by today's standards) very reasonable $35 corkage. Sekoya is now on our radar, and we'll be back!
Steve and Milyie were the best to our family tonight. We had visitors from So cal and Colorado and we all enjoyed you
Delicious food and great service at the bar. Drinks were also well mixed and tasty.

Sekoya Lounge & Kitchen is a charming restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for lingering. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes, including skewers, pilaf, trout, and bread. Standout options include the Easter brunch with caviar and monkey bread appetizer and lamb cheeks over polenta. The restaurant has a sophisticated ambiance with tasty bites and a nice spot on California Ave, including a front heated patio and a cool interior vibe. The interior bar area is also a good choice, and it boasts a good selection of fine spirits, especially Japanese whiskey and tequila.
Service is attentive, and all dishes are well-executed, from homemade bread with mascarpone to fried chicken and scallops. Recent reviews highlight the extensive and fantastic cocktail program, with well-made and balanced cocktails. Guests have enjoyed dishes like the vegan gnocchi, fresh tuna tartare, crispy prawns over papaya salad, and the highly praised beef tongue skewer, noted as a must-try. The roasted scallops, large and perfectly cooked, topped with bacon jam, are among the favorites.
While the portions may be small, the quality of the food and the welcoming environment make it a restaurant worth visiting again. The truffle fries were noted as a miss, but the burger and NY steak were exactly as advertised. Despite being considered pricey, the overall experience is enjoyable, making Sekoya a great spot for drinks and a meal, especially for special occasions or dates.
