“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

“Great food and even better service. I ordered the chicken kebab plate. It's a healthy portion. I also received a free cream of mushroom soup from the owner. He checked on me several times to see if I needed anything. I would highly recommend this place.“

“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.“

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

“Very cool Americana 50's diner with rockabilly on the speakers. Cool 'Back To The Future' kinda vibe.
Burgers were very under-cooked. So, I showed them the red beef and they gave us 2 new burgers on the house. Quite possibly the best burger I ever had. Awesome strawberry shake.
A bit pricey for burgers and milk shake.“

“It's one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the area. They offer many home style cooked meals, but I usually go on the weekends to eat their beef barbacoa. They serve it in tacos or as a stew in a bowl to which you can add the salsa, onion, cilantro and lime. In addition they provide hand made tortillas which is the best way to have it. With great service and ambiance it no wonder people keep coming back for more.“

“9.1/10 tri tip sandwich
For a lil store selling Boars Head sandwiches, this place is pretty solid. The tri tip sandwich smacks and for $16 it's priced just about right. Other sandwiches are priced lower depending on what you get
Whenever I go I always get everything in it like peppers, tomatoes, pickles, pepperchini, etc. Everything is pretty fresh
If you go here for lunch dont go at standard lunch times like 11-12 otherwise you might be waiting in line because it's a popular spot.
I would absolutely recommend coming here and trying a sandwich“

“I recently visited Counterpoint with friends for brunch and had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the **Garden Omelette** with fresh veggies and Monterey Jack cheese, the flavorful **Veggie Breakfast Burrito** with feta and pico de gallo, and a refreshing **Seasonal Yogurt Parfait**. The **Breakfast Sandwich** with ham, avocado, and aged cheddar on a toasted croissant was a highlight. The friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. We had a great experience and can’t wait to return!“

“During our last time in the Bay Area, one of our favourite coffee joint was Philz Coffee. Every single cup would be freshly grounded and brewed right in front of you. Also, there’s a signature of Philz Coffee known as Iced Mint Mojito where you’ll be amazed by the combination of mint, sweetness and creaminess that complements their freshly grounded and brewed coffee so well.
It was still just as good as we remembered!
This time, we had the
– Pork sausage and egg Breakfast Burrito ($7)
– Mint Mojito Iced Coffee ($7.1), Large Iced Creamy Sweet
– Twice Baked Almond Croissant Toasted ($5.25)
– Iced Honey Haze ($7.1), Large Iced Creamy Sweet, to-go
We also like the terms “sweet” for how you’d like the sweetness that ranged from light, medium to sweet and “creamy” for how much milk you’d like from light medium to creamy”. Together, “sweet and creamy” not only indicates the sweetness and milkiness of your coffee but also as a familiar way of ordering drinks from Philz Coffee...

“Delicious food for this type of restaurant and lots of chicken, beef, pork, and vegetable options. There are also multiple noodle and rice options. There is a lot of turnover so the food is usually fresh and hot when I’ve been there. The staff is always friendly and some are multilingual. There are several tables so you can sit there and eat. The parking lot isn’t huge, but you can park across the street. Also, great value as well. The portions are so large we usually eat it as 2 meals, that is if we can stop ourselves. Haha“

“Tried Guapas Mexican Grill recently and really enjoyed it. It’s a casual spot with solid food that delivers. We ordered two Taco Trios to sample all of their meat options, and the asada and carnitas were easily the standouts—flavorful and well cooked. We also had the impossible meat burrito, which was absolutely delicious and a great option even if you’re not vegetarian. Their habanero salsa was delicious but definitely spicy.
Service was average, but the food made up for it. Prices felt fair for the quality, and overall it was definitely worth it. We’ll be returning and would recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area.“

“I give this boba 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I ordered the Mango Chamoy Delight with mango popping boba, and it was so refreshing and full of flavor—sweet, tangy, and perfect. The two ladies working there were so nice and patient while I was waiting, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Very kind and professional staff, we had so much fun. We only had appetizers and drinks, but the cocktails were creative and delicious, and the appetizers were delectable. The bread and butter, which is run through a cheese grater so become a soft fluffy lemon flavored art piece (see photo) is incredible. The place itself is lovely, high ceilings and elegant atmosphere, as well as outdoor dog friendly seating. Not inexpensive, but worth it for the experience.“

“Love this local spot! Tasty bagels, fresh cream cheese. Sandwiches come loaded with variety of veggies. I didn’t like the Vietnamese coffee - very sweet. 3 stars for service on an American scale, but Asian standards 5 stars. Don’t expect American customer service where staff exchange cheerful greetings and bend over backwards for the customer. The curt style and language barrier reminds me of the dim sum shops in SF - say what you want and move on. Also pay in cash and you might get a smile :)“

“Food was delicious -- salads are gigantic! Pizza dough and cheesiness was a delight. Three of us split pizza and cobb salad and it was more than enough, surprisingly. I'd appreciate some more options closer to $15 for lunch. The lady server kinda spoiled our experience, but another guy seemed great.“
