“Service was amazing! Garrett was so attentive and would bring everything we needed before we could even think of asking. Service like that is what makes the experience truly memorable. The atmosphere is good too—not too loud and beautiful decor. Ingredients were delicious, but I was not a fan of some dishes (could be personal preference). The cucumber salad seemed too acidic and the pork belly with burrata pairing didn’t go well in my opinion. But again, the quality was great and the rest is personal preference. Would be an injustice if I didn’t mention that trout was absolutely delectable! Might be the best one I’ve ever had. Also, the vanilla soft serve with cardamom crumble was a hit!“

“Super cute restaurant inside the Park James Hotel.The only reason this isn’t a five stars because of a few operational issues.There is no parking. They do offer valet but only the first two hours are free. Luckily I found street parking about a block away so good to know that is an option.While the ascetics are beautiful, the comfort level is not great. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable. The backseat cushions on the booth move around as it is hanging on a bar as a freestanding pillow situation.Unfortunately, the lighting kept changing from super bright to dim a few times during the hour and a half we were there.The food is five stars. Everything we had was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. We started with the calamari. The sauce that came with it was so good.We then decided to share the ceasar salad and the squid ink seafood pasta. The pasta bowl was overflowing with tender seafood. The pasta was cooked perfect and the sauce had a little kick that was a welcome surprise. So good! ?The drinks and deserts were really good as well.The service was attentive, friendly and absolutely lovely. Everyone from the host, to the chef, to the servers were excellent. ??We were there on a Wednesday night and had no problems getting a table, but I can see how on the weekends or sunny days (for the outdoor area) it can get quite busy. Would recommend making sure to have a reservation.They also had live music the night we were there, and the talent was quite good.I will definitely be back for the food, but will be sure to request one of the high top tables or outside seating.“

“A lovely meal. The chef is super creative in the use of vegetables and original sauces. Nice selection of wines by the glass, which our server was happy to let me taste before ordering. Highly recommend the cauliflower starter and the chickpea risotto, which were quite exceptional. The baked cod however was a bit too salty. And we needed to order some bread to cleanse our palate afterwards. They did offer to remake the fish which was thoughtful, but it would have interrupted the flow of our dinner at that stage. That said, it was a great experience overall. And don't skip the s'mores desert!“

“We had the most delicious meal last night at Protégé. Each course of the tasting menu was perfection. At the end we couldn't choose a favorite because they were all equally incredible. Our server, Fleur, was so knowledgeable about the food and the wine and gave us wonderful recommendations for the perfect wines to compliment the various courses. The whole experience was wonderful and I can't wait to go back sometime.Dietary restrictions: They made sure they were aware of all of my dietary restrictions and ensured the food I was served was safe for me to eat by making small adjustments when needed.“

“Great food and service! We went with some friends and the owners gave us samples of their delicious dips with pita bread. The spitfire chicken salad bowl was delicious. We had kalamari steaks and falafel too. Very delicious. We will definitely be back. Reasonably priced good food.“

“What a great discovery for me! I was waiting to order a sandwich close by, but it was taking too long. So, I walked over to Big Brothers Burgers and ordered the classic with fries. Wow! It was so huge yet delicious! Great service, and the ambiance was nice too. Highly recommend!“

“This is our first time going to the restaurant. They opened right before Covid. And have been in business for a little over four years. It was easy to get a reservation and we had outside dining on the sidewalk with two heaters. The service was great. Our server was fantastic. Our table, ordered chicken, fish, and pasta, and the quality and proportions were extremely fine. Generous portions. And the prices unbeatable. And they took Apple Pay at Table. Definitely will make this a restaurant for us to visit the future.“

“I came here last summer and it was quite an interesting experience. We ordered and then sat outside.The paratha roll was great all around -- tender and flavorful spicy chicken in a buttery roll. I'd definitely get this again.The sizzling chicken dish had good flavor but the chicken was not as tender as I would've liked.The palak paneer was pretty meh. Not creamy and just spinachy.The garlic naan and mango lassi were good. Overall I had a good time here and would definitely get the paratha roll again.“

“I came here with my sister, my partner's cousin, and his wife. We each had a pizza. My sister had the vegan one, which she liked a lot, and the other three of us had a great sausage one. The people here were very nice. Our party overstayed our welcome a bit and they were gracious in telling us when they were closing.“

“Random food truck I found on the side of the street lol, but it had good reviews so I had to try it. They are generous in their serving size and everything tasted pretty good too be honest. It's not as spiced as a lot of other restaurants, but that's also ok. I think it may have more turmeric than other places though. It's a one man army and the food is good, so 7/10.“

“We found this place roughly a month ago, and the owner and head chef named Josh is arguably one of the best steps I've ever met, I come from chefs background used to be a corporate chef years ago, and the food and quality of service at this location is arguably the best I've ever dealt with, including French laundry. “A coffee roaster and cafe located in California, USA. It started in San Francisco in 2013, and as the city is named after Saint Francis, the coffee house is also named that way. Like St. Francis, they form a network with small coffee farms around them and work together to achieve mutual benefit. It's a branch located at the Menlo Park Caltrain station, but from a distance it looks like just a counter, so you wouldn't even know it was a coffee shop. When you get close, you can smell the fragrant coffee. Feels like Blue Bottle coffee with a mild sour taste. And best of all, they are a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise running in the heart of Palo Alto. I work at Cubberley not far from Ada’s, so I have been coming by often and supporting.A big shout out goes to Kathleen, the owner and founder of Ada’s Cafe — she’s absolutely humble and very caring at every customer. She goes above and beyond in support of not only the neurodivergent community, but also for the communities in need in Palo Alto.I ordered a 16oz latte with whole milk on a Friday — and they honestly served it with SO much love and so much belonging. It truly felt like I was at home, but 10x better. The beans had flavor, and the whole milk wasn’t overly saturated. I also appreciated how much love and consideration they put in the croissant sandwich as well, because the ingredients were fresh and not too sweet or too salty at all.It is located next to the Palo Alto Library, and they do close early at 4pm. “Reservations recommended. It's a fabulous find with fantastic food. This was our second visit, and my partner said the margarita she ordered was a good as our first time. The service was terrific, and the food was hot and delicious. The salsa served with the chips was teetering on the high end of my tolerance, but I'm kind of a lightweight in that regard. The only cautionary note is the environment. The space has tall ceilings and nothing to dampen sound. As a result, it is pretty raucous and lively...not ideal for quiet conversation. I wouldn't want them to change as that's part of the experience.“

“I have been to this place only a handful of times. Each time the food quality and service never ceases to amaze me. The food is spectacularly delicious. The service is quick. Don' t let that deter you in thinking the food quality must lack. On the contrary, they use fresh ingredients and the fact that they are so busy they food turn over is great. you know you are getting fresh cooked food. Hands down the best pakistani/indian restaurant in the bay area. I recommend the halwa puri thali on the weekends and the spinach gosht on the weekdays with garlic naan.“

This is the kind of place that will convert a "crust hater" into a "crust lover". I recommend the Heat and Sweet or their limited quantity Grandma's Pie. Spinach salad was delicious topped with homemade potato chips, creamy goat cheese and profuse amount of pancetta. The Capriccio pizza had great toppings of prociutto, artichokes, olives. Regretting became soggy while we ate. Portions are copious and each dish easily feed two. The bombilini donuts are DELICIOUS! Great atmosphere. Lively, but the tables were nicely pleased so conversation was not impacted. The wait staff was wonderful. I would only have liked tablecloths! That would have matched the quality of the food and service.“

It was so warm and flavorful with melted cheese, turkey and pastrami, complemented by juicy tomatoes, creamy avo and zesty chipotle mayo, all smushed inside pillowy-soft Dutch Crunch. I had only planned to finish half as the sammy was enormous. However, once I started eating I just couldn't stop! Before I knew it, the gargantuan Suanwich disappeared and left crumbs all over my keyboard. Writing this review made me hungry.“

The menu is diverse enough to cover adventuresome palates (e.g. sours, barrel aged ales), folks who just want a solid, dependable ale, and people who want to try something more approachable to one who's not a hard-core beer drinker. The owner is always so cordial in his greeting of us and the staff always are so courteous and have smiles despite the busy atmosphere of this Valentine's dinner . The dedicated menu for the evening was sufficient to please the diverse palates ( though our friend who received the duck breast choice was a bit displeased because the slices were very thin and small compared to what was usually served to others ) but taste wise he said it was very good . The seabass and the lamb choices were delicious ... no complaints there !! The “old-fashioned“ soda was a nice addition.The young men working the counter were friendly and fun to interact with.There were a few seats inside, but given the Bay Area weather, it was nice to get a seat outside and enjoy the weather and pizza together.Dietary restrictions: The vegan cheese is a homemade cashew cheese.Kid-friendliness: The environment is very welcoming to children. If they are loud, you should be able to grab a seat outside without an issue.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level, so getting in and out shouldn’t be a problem.“

“We love Vino Locale! Nice ambiance, great wine list, and solid snacks to enjoy. Of of the best things about Vino Locale is that the wine list isn't just the same 5 wines that you see at many other places, they offer a great variety of domestic & international wines, and treat each one well. I love the Sancerre on the menu, and appreciate that they offer 6oz or 9oz pours, half bottles, and full bottles. The Black Cabra Cabernet Sauvignon and Miraval Rose are also among my favorites. In terms of food items, I usually gravitate toward the chicken skewers are a good option and come with a few flavor/sauce options. The beet salad is good, and I often get their Brussels sprouts (know what to expect, though: they're not fried/crispy, but are tasty - served with parmesan, cranberries, almonds, and optional bacon). The cheese plates and hummus platter are also good, reliable options. Service is so friendly! They have a nice dog-friendly patio (and often have a few treats for pups), and live music most Thursday evenings.“

“Small coffee gem with limited range of food options located at a cozy backyard right off Cal Ave. Ordered a golden latten and a salmon toast and I must say everything was delicious. The coffee had a very good balance between the turmeric and the honey which made this special drink delicious. The salmon toast was also very good with a good amount of salmon. However, I felt like the portion was slightly too small. The coffee shop was very busy on a Sunday morning but service was rather friendly and efficient.“

“My family just tried this relatively new restaurant for brunch on Sunday and so glad we did! It was a beautiful day out and even though there were plenty of tables inside and out, my daughter opted to eat inside. After you walk in, you order and pay before finding yourself a place to sit. We were in a bit of a rush since my daughter had a soccer game nearby, and the employee was very nice and said she would rush our order and put our drinks in to go cups even though we were dining there. The menu offers a variety of options to choose from, including Korean staples like fried chicken and rice cakes, as well as salads, burgers and croffles (cross between a croissant and a waffle). They also serve specialty coffees, boba teas, cocktails, beer and wine. We sampled the chicken croffle, fish and ships and shrimp fettucine alfredo. I must say, all the food was delicious! The fried chicken that went with the croffle was seasoned well and was very crispy, like it was double battered. I had never tried a croffle before, but it was really tasty! It came with sliced grapes and strawberries. My only complaint is that the dish was swimming in syrup. It wasn't overly sweet, but I would have preferred the syrup on the side. I'll know to order that next time! The fish and chips included 2 large pieces of fish and seasoned fries. The fish was pretty good, but the fries were excellent! At first I was reluctant to let my 8 year old order a $20 pasta dish, but with 5 large shrimps and prosciutto mixed in the sauce, it was definitely worth it. It was a generous portion and tasted like carbonara! Highly recommend! My daughter also ordered a mango drink with lychee jelly, which she enjoyed and I had an iced orange grapefruit black tea that was really refreshing. I was pretty impressed with Corner Kitchen. Happy to see that the place had a steady stream of customers coming in while we were dining there. I hope this place stays awhile! I can't wait to go back and try more things, especially the Korean dishes!!“

“This is a really spacious location compared to other locations they have in the area. Many tables for seating! A few people were waiting for their drinks and socializing. Cozy little spot. This is conveneient across from Ramen Nagi and Son & Garden as well.I recommend the Mango Mochi Coconut Pudding and the Jasmine Coconut Pudding! These are my favorites, but definitely get pricey. For drinks, my go-to is the Da Hong Pao (DHP) Latte with Jelly! Very fragrant tea, but still creamy from the milk. A well balanced milk tea.“

“Near a curve on a four line road is an eclectic older Mexican restaurant with artistic merit, interesting landscaping outdoor dining and several different kinds of tables and chairs indoors, including a bar.The menu has several options many of which I had not seen in Mexican food places before. I have tried their tamales, chili relleno, black beans, pinto beans, rice, grilled chicken, quesadilla, pico, guacamole, and the provided chips and salsa. All of the flavors are excellent. The green sauce and masa of the tamale, and the firm aged relleno cheese filling were outstanding.Indoors is Mexican music, while outdoors there is traffic noise. The tortilla chips are the thin triangle bagged kind. The restroom has an old sink and fixtures. But the custom artwork, high ceilings with paper fiesta decor and painted furniture are classic south of the border. The seats are all flat wood, no cushions. No sauce bar or extra hot sauce present. Will need another visit to try the mole.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas are great.“

The atmosphere and food was every bit what you would hope to experience and more.My wife and Son were back at our hotel room quarantining for my son’s heart surgery he was going to have the next day. I had a request to get Ice cream. At first I was overwhelmed with all the crazy options and of course My wife and son couldn’t make things simple on me and get a generic ice cream. I had to sample nearly every type and provide feedback over the phone. And yes I mean every type, such as the Turkey and Stuffing as well as the Blue Cheese and Pear. The employee felt my discomfort with asking for more and more samples and he went out of his way to constantly assure me that he would love to get me as many as I needed. One would say its because he had a sensitive heart to my situation, however I did not bring my situation up until after all the samples so he would have perspective to why I needed to try so many.I am not one to go to the same place twice when traveling, however I can tell you that I am going back before we head back home.“

One of the first things I noticed was the high-quality of the menu: Mary's chicken, Scottish salmon, and other brands we love. The kitchen didn't disappoint. “The cutest little dessert shop in Los Altos. Has the best cake and very yummy drinks. There is no longer any indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating with shades. My favorite is the strawberry and cream cake and it is by far the best one I've ever had. Service is quick and just a grab and go kind of place where you pick up your cake and find a place to sit down. Since the seating is outdoors on a Main Street there is the ambiance of cars and people walking by.“
