The food came a bit fast, but as soon as I asked them to slow it down, pacing was excellent. Highly recommend. My favorites are the beef chapli kebab, chicken tikka, and their newest addition—the chicken chargha—which is easily one of the best things on the menu. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you really can’t go wrong here.

It’s the perfect combination of comforting, satisfying food and incredibly delicious protein. The restaurant does get quite busy during peak meal times, so if you’d rather skip the wait, I’d recommend ordering takeout or visiting during off-peak hours.“

“First time here - my friend and I met in the area and decided to enter out of whim (we drove in 2hrs+ and Redwood is our meeting place). I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.“

“Really enjoyed Nomadic Kitchen in San Mateo! They feature a streamlined menu focused on heavy-hitting entrees and appetizers, which makes ordering easy because everything they do, they do right.

The hummus plate is an absolute must-have. It features incredibly creamy, delicious hummus topped with vibrant cabbage and pomegranate seeds. It is surrounded by a beautiful ring of rich, colorful sauces, dips, and pickles that pair perfectly with the basket of warm, homemade bread.

For the main course, the chicken kebab was a total hit. The chicken breast cubes are perfectly charred and incredibly tender. What really sets Nomadic Kitchen over the top is their beautiful plating and generous side options. The entree comes out beautifully arranged on a sleek black platter, complete with a fresh salad topped with pickled cabbage, a side of seasoned bulgur wheat, and a side of fluffy white rice. Having both rice options on one plate is a fantastic touch.

If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting out on the patio area to enjoy the beautiful San Mateo sun. The service was completely solid, friendly and fairly quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. I will definitely be back.“

“I've been wanting to go to this place for a while now. Everytime I search for a place with best coffee near my work, this always pops up. I finally had the pleasure of going here, and it wasn't too busy.
The person who took my order was super nice and helpful in narrowing down items to try. Everything here is made to order, so they do recommend using the app. Especially if you are in a hurry.
I ordered:

1. Vietnamese coffee with salted cream: Surprisingly, this was a little sweet to me. I do recommend sipping it, instead of drinking it through a straw to get the full flavor.

2. Croffle w/ nutella: This was crispy and chewy. The nutella gave it a messy yumminess

3. Egg, cheese, and bacon croissant: This was delicious and surprisingly it didn't have that greasy oily feeling. It is very hearty.

4. Perfect green smoothie: My co-worker loved this and found it very delicious. Perfect balance of all the items.

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... “We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling.
