“Delicious food and friendly staff. Best steak burrito and chili verde we have ever had. Loved the added touch of bean dip and custom flavorful tortillas for dipping. A big win. Definitely going back and bringing friends. Can't believe I just discovered this place after years of riding my bike by it.”

One refill was poured into the wrong glass so soda and ice tea got mixed up but it was corrected. Avocado tempura appetizer was amazing. Desserts were delicious also crème brûlée and chocolate decadent cake. Hubby filet perfect, pizza large. Will definitely go back.”

“Wandered in after getting disgusted by the parking situation at another nearby restaurant. Very pleasantly surprised by the attentive service, taste and quality of the food, and the availability of gluten free options. Crab cakes were really good.”

“This is one of my favorite cantinas for lunch when working on trees in Portola Valley. Don't miss their veggie tacos and margaritas! ⚡?⚡Friendly service and a wonderfully kind señor cantinero with bright blue eyes and a welcoming smile and generous pour. This place fills up, but there is always a lot of seating and plenty of outdoor tables as well. I believe this place is the central community spot for all of us arborists and contractors after a long day of work. Quick and delicious. Great service to your table and plenty of refills on chips and salsa. Don't miss their flan either . ??? You guys make my day. Thank you!!?

“Fantastic evening at Robin. The omakase restaurant had a hip, night clubby feel to it as the interior was dark with dance club music, but the sushi was definitely worthwhile. Erin and Abby provided friendly and efficient service, which contributed to the overall positive experience. Free parking lot next door makes it easy to find a parking space.”

“Didn't want to eat the tried and tested Zareen's so I ended up here instead. Now this is good Street food! Authentic flavors, good spice level and warm service. The food prep time is definitely on the higher end, so definitely don't come here starved. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. Large portions and flavorful food.

“Amazing place for a cozy dinner! Great ambience, the food is yummy and the people there are friendly. Kudos to Clayton and Ayush for making the experience even more beautiful. We ordered chicken Malabar and korma, both were amazingly delicious and as per our spice tolerance. The biryani was the show stopper for sure. And the dessert was delicious as well! We thank the team for a nice experience and will definitely visit them more!”

“Tonight, we stopped by Oak & Violet to catch the live music. Ken, an acoustic guitarist and singer, performed, and his voice and guitar skills were fantastic. We liked him so much we asked for his business card for private events.

We were impressed by the ambiance, and had a great evening enjoying cocktails, wine, and appetizers. The service was excellent, and the patio ambiance was cozy.

While street parking is limited, the restaurant, located inside a hotel, offers free valet parking for two hours, with a $10 charge after that and additional fees for overnight guests.

“Apple dumpling appetizer was a very nice blend of flavors. The lamb chop appetizer was absolutely heavenly, though it was definitely pricey for a single chop. The vegetarian tasting entree was a good variety of flavors, and the pork was quite possibly the best pork I've ever had. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert, and while it was tasty, was perhaps sweeter than ideal - may have gone well with an espresso, but it was a bit late. The patio in front of the restaurant was very charming, nicely lit, and quiet - very little traffic on Alameda de Puglas, and the music was just the right volume. The service was great - attentive, unobtrusive, and they remembered that our reservation was for a special occasion, which is much appreciated. Very good experience, would definitely consider returning.”
