“Fantastic food quality & pleasant service. the restaurant always very clean with beautiful & comfortable seating area. Chef Martin putting his heart into his wonderful cooking.”
“Okay, chill spot to hang out and write reports. Coffee shop vibes, friendly and inviting. Incredibly helpful and ... for lack of better words, a nice soul.I enjoyed basking in their glow engrossed in my own works. When done is done, it was like leaving a spa.”
“The food was cooked to perfection, as we both had the chicken breast entree. What made the evening awkward was that after we finished the main course, my guest asked for the Dessert Menu and ordered ice cream. Please remember that they have a 2-hour window in place. We were seated at the assigned time (5:30PM) which should have allowed us to leave at 7:30PM. At approximately 6:55PM, she noticed that our waiter walked through the dining area and specifically looked at our table. This went on for several minutes, with each time looking at her ice cream and what was left of my chicken. He did place both of our leftovers in 2-go boxes. He must have circled the dining room 4-5 times, as he had another couple waiting. We finally left the restaurant at 7:15PM.”
“Carne Asada dinner is what I order. The portions are huge. The food was very good. I gave 4 stars because I’m not a black beans fan. It was still good. The steak was tender, rice yummy and bean were good.”
“My new favorite sushi spot! I've come here about once a week for the past month and a half or so for lunch and it never disappoints. Food always comes out quickly, hot and tasty. I really enjoy their Deluxe Bento Box. Chicken teriyaki, rice, sashimi, salad, miso soup and tempura! And the price is great! Not to mention the service! They are always very polite, friendly and accommodating of me and my dog when we come. They have some outdoor seating for those nicer weather days. And if you sit inside it is cozy as well. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced sushi spot that does not sacrifice quality.”
“Ideally I would have to say I would give Robin a 3.5 stars. Upon arriving to the restaurant, it was storming outside and there were no signs for us to find the place. When we entered, we got greeted by friendly staff members and got seated. I think what makes Robin a bit more unique compared to other omakase places is that you can choose your own price range and the chefs accommodate with what you had picked, but in my opinion I would have preferred them to give a set price to choose from. Inside of the restaurant was beautiful, I loved the interior design, but if you're looking for a quiet/intimate omakase experience this is not the place for that. Music is pretty loud and the parties around us were talking with their outside voice , which I didn't mind because like I mentioned the vibes at Robin is definitely more casual. In terms of the quality of food, I would have to say, while everything was super fresh and good, nothing stood out to me. On top of that, every omakase I've been to so far, I would have been full 80% in but we left Robin still hungry. Our total came out to be $470, and I would have expected to leave full. I wished they had taken out the potato chip nigiri and the noodle dish, because I would have preferred to receive more fish. The nigiri that was part of the courses was super small, and as I mentioned, while everything was good, I was not amazed. Still highly recommend if you've never experienced omakase before, only tip is to book at the bar seating bc you'll get the full experience that way.”
“I would tell you how great the food and service was, and how much we enjoyed the evening, but I don't want to make reservations harder to get as we are returning! Not only great meat and seafood, but wonderful vegetarian dishes. And desserts were over the top!”
“An absolute favorite that I am sure to visit on every trip to the Bay. Very unique fusions of Indian and Californian flavors with something for every palate. My favorites are the sesame leaf, burrata kulcha, house salad and dry boat scallops. Also don’t sleep on the cocktails. Very nicely crafted.”
“WOW!! If you want a meal experience of a lifetime - this one tops the charts!! Everything on the menu is a culinary delight. The staff is delightful - a special shout out to our server extraordinaire, Greg (xoxo); the Wine Director, Jim Rollston is incredibly knowledgeable & insightful!!I cannot use enough superlatives to describe this dining experience.Thank you Village Pub - Oh.What.A.Night!!Vegetarian options: Always some nice vegetarian selections.Parking: Just note: the entrance is in the rear, off of Woodside Rd. [CA 84] - when Google says, "you have arrived", pull around to the back.”
“Everything was SO delicious: the scallop crudo with peas, the tortelloni , the spaghetti w/Dungeness crab, the waygu hamburger and fries and the apple tart tatin. I think one cannot go wrong with dining at Camper and I look forward to trying the pizza on my next trip :)”
“This place is absolutely fantastic. Definitely in my top 5 Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay. Their eggplants are awesome and their chocolate dessert is perfect. I'd take any opportunity to go there to eat”
“Details. Details Details. What a refreshing, beautiful experience. I can't get over the experience of this restaurant. The kindness, the service and beautiful location made me so excited to come back. Love the menu and the exabition kitchen! I'm excited to make this my spot!”
“We went to Sundance to celebrate my husband's birthday, and this OG place did not disappoint. The vibe was lovely. The service and timing from our waitress, Ashley G., were outstanding. Complimentary freshly baked bread. Free mud pie (ice cream cake) dessert for the birthday boy. Both of our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The veggies were still crisp, and the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. Their Ceasar salad was perfect with crisp romaine, perfect dressing and cheese ratio, anchovies, and crunchy (not hard) croutons. Lastly, their drinks were so good we had to get another round. This place is a solid choice for a nice night out. PS: Don't forget to grab some Andes chocolate on your way out.”
“Mert was an excellent waiter! He made the experience lovely and had great recommendations for our group. The sea bass was excellent and they have a lovely selection of appetizers for a number of dietary restrictions.”
“Service was amazing! Garrett was so attentive and would bring everything we needed before we could even think of asking. Service like that is what makes the experience truly memorable. The atmosphere is good too—not too loud and beautiful decor. Ingredients were delicious, but I was not a fan of some dishes (could be personal preference). The cucumber salad seemed too acidic and the pork belly with burrata pairing didn’t go well in my opinion. But again, the quality was great and the rest is personal preference. Would be an injustice if I didn’t mention that trout was absolutely delectable! Might be the best one I’ve ever had. Also, the vanilla soft serve with cardamom crumble was a hit!”
“We had the most delicious meal last night at Protégé. Each course of the tasting menu was perfection. At the end we couldn't choose a favorite because they were all equally incredible. Our server, Fleur, was so knowledgeable about the food and the wine and gave us wonderful recommendations for the perfect wines to compliment the various courses. The whole experience was wonderful and I can't wait to go back sometime.Dietary restrictions: They made sure they were aware of all of my dietary restrictions and ensured the food I was served was safe for me to eat by making small adjustments when needed.”
“Rene was an incredible server!! He was short handed and was able to still take care of our party without an issue!! He surprised us with the best drinks, I asked him to make it strong and he did not disappoint. We were very happy with our drinks, food and service and everything was impeccable!”
“I live on the east bay but work in the peninsula. Was craving birra tacos and found them on yelp. My husband has food allergies but was willing to try the chicken soft tacos. I brought everything home across the 92. He didn't have an allergic reaction! He loved them so much, he asked me to buy them again afterwards work the next day! The birra tacos were delicious as well! The consume (dipping) is really good! Everything was wrapped nicely and still warm by the time I got home. The second day I tried a chicken burrito and that was delicious as well! I highly recommend!”
“A lil pricey for a sandwich but very good stuff. Nice fresh sourdough; the bread was soft and had a nice slight crunch to it. The original (ham and turkey) was tasty and came with cheese. I saved half for the next day and it was still delicious. Somehow even better when cold. The crust sourdough dip with warm au jus (roast beef) was amazing. The roast beef was so tender! It was worth it. I also really enjoyed the bacon jam; I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed the bit of sweetness and caramelized onions in it. Really solid! The bread also held up nicely when dipped into the au jus. The cookies are not too bad; I tried the lemon and it smelled great. Taste was good too but unfortunately it was a lemon cookie with coconut shavings inside (which was not mentioned) and I'm not the biggest fan of coconut! The interior is nice and spacious. They are located in an office space.”
“It was an amazing experience being at divino having lunch. The food is amazing and the service awesome, friendly and always you see an smile in their facesFully recommended”
“My friend and I stumbled upon Shekoh Confections purely by chance, while we were strolling the streets of Palo Alto during a business trip from Florida. We found the shop to be inviting and staff very friendly and informative. The delicacies were superb - we tasted a couple and decided to purchase three boxes - mine were meant to be gifts for family members. Unfortunately, a day after the purchase I had an accident and ended up in a LA hospital - and gave the chocolates away to my incredible nurses who took such good care of me. The nurses raved about the treats and I shared the shop's information with them. I look forward to ordering the chocolates (and the beautiful chocolate shoes) online - and hope that they can be delivered to Florida.”
“Delicious food and very helpful service staff. They took their time explaining menu items and helped with recommendations. Architecture is nice and the wood table by the entrance is just gorgeous.”
“Good Food specifically Appitizer’s.Balance of Taste can be felt.Wanted to give 5-star but we had high expectation from Daal-makheni which was missing heavy milk to a great portion.”
“Food was great!! My daughter loves the butter chicken as she says it melts in your mouth with the amazing flavor. The oyster mushroom was delicious with the great texture!! And my son enjoyed the butter naan. Service was wonderful as always and the atmosphere was welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.”
“We were craving Japanese food and discovered this restaurant in San Carlos. It's a family-owned business located at the corner, with 1-2 tables outdoors. There were no issues with the service, and you can watch as they prepare and slice the sashimi in front of you. We visited during lunchtime, so they offered a lunch special bento box. We ordered a Sake Don (Salmon) and a Bento Box with pork katsu and spicy tuna rolls. Both came with a bowl of miso soup. The salmon sashimi was fresh, served with about 10 slices over the sushi rice. The pork katsu was deep-fried to perfection, and the salad was fresh. The spicy rolls were okay. Overall, the food quality is excellent, and everything tastes fresh. I enjoyed our selections; however, the portion size is smaller than expected for the price. We found ourselves a bit hungry after the meal.”
“Delicious Nepalese food. Extremely vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu, but most of the group ate meat and everyone was very satisfied by their meals. We also shared a bottle of wine that everyone enjoyed. We had the cauliflower appetizer that they recommended and it was fantastic, would highly suggest that to everyone who eats here. We also enjoyed the mushroom and buffalo appetizers as well. A lot of great options to choose from.”
“What a great cafe in Palo Alto. Reasonable price and nice service. The Mozzarella bread is fantastic and highly recommend to try sweet hot latte and Turkish coffee. There are alots of Baklava and sweets. Good for gifts.”

“Best coffee in the bay area! Ask for croissant and honey, it's in the secret menu, but it's perfection.PS: we come every month and it's always a delicious experience.”
“Everything was spectacular.... The hosts at the door are courteous. Ordering is unique because everyone has their own bill. I kind of miss being able to go to the bar with cash...”
