“Food was delish. Only issue was bones in my halibut. Beverage Service & table busing slow at times. Had to ask a couple of times for refills. One refill was poured into the wrong glass so soda and ice tea got mixed up but it was corrected. Avocado tempura appetizer was amazing. Desserts were delicious also crème brûlée and chocolate decadent cake. Hubby filet perfect, pizza large. Will definitely go back.”

“Delicious food and super refreshing aguas frescas. If you enjoy quesabirrias, give these a try. They’re the perfect crispy and super tender meat. Only drawback is that they’re seating is not very comfortable.”

“If you come here expecting fancy cuts of super exotic fish, you’ll probably be disappointed. However, if you come with an open mind to try different types of fish each seasoned and dressed slightly differently to complement the flavors and also to cater to a less ‘traditional’ palette, then Robin can be a fun experience. We set our price point at around $140 and was served a good amount of food we felt full after. Our server confirmed our dietary restrictions and preferences, and was able to customize each piece to cater to everyone. My favorite piece was probably the uni wagyu seaweed crunch. We came for a work dinner and ended up finishing 3 bottles of sake and had a great time. We were probably responsible for destroying the ambiance as we probably got abnoxiously loud towards the end. Good option for date night or for an expensive company dinner :P”

“We were visiting from Boston on a family trip and stopped by this restaurant on July 2. The food was absolutely delicious(my top pick is black king but sides are also good, chicken and dumplings), but what made our visit truly unforgettable was the incredible hospitality from one of your staff members.

Unfortunately, we never got his name, but he was a Korean staff member. From the moment we were waiting in line, he noticed our 5yo drawing on the order sheet and kindly interacted with her. Throughout our meal, he kept checking on us and made our whole family feel so welcome.

Before we finished our meal, he came over to let us know that he was heading home for the day. Because of that, we never had the chance to properly thank him, which is something we’ve regretted ever since.

Our trip lasted two weeks, taking us all the way from San Diego to San Francisco, and we visited many wonderful restaurants along the way. Yet, almost a month later, our kids still talk about “the uncle” from this restaurant and keep asking when we can come back. That says more than any review ever could.

If we ever have the opportunity, we’d love to come back just to thank him in person. And if by any chance you’re reading this review—thank you for making our family trip so special. Your kindness left a lasting memory for all of us.

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.”

“An exceptional culinary experience at Protégé in Palo Alto. Every dish showcased masterful technique and impeccable flavors. The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. The lobster toast was crisp, buttery, and indulgent, and the Black Bass—flawless in execution—was the best I’ve encountered. The Ricotta Dumplings , delicate yet deeply flavorful, rounded out an unforgettable meal. The shigoku oysters with whipped ponzu were indescribably fresh and flavorful. The sunflower Caesar, with its preserved tomato jam, was a unique and unforgettable twist on a classic. As for the brick chicken that we took to go, it was so delicious that it barely made it home before being devoured. “Zareen’s is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving flavorful, high-quality meat. My favorites are the beef chapli kebab, chicken tikka, and their newest addition—the chicken chargha—which is easily one of the best things on the menu. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you really can’t go wrong here.

It’s the perfect combination of comforting, satisfying food and incredibly delicious protein. The restaurant does get quite busy during peak meal times, so if you’d rather skip the wait, I’d recommend ordering takeout or visiting during off-peak hours.”

“First time here - my friend and I met in the area and decided to enter out of whim (we drove in 2hrs+ and Redwood is our meeting place). I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.”

“At Iki omakase, the chef created a menu which included seasonal ingredients that translated to a delicious and refined dining experience. This dinner was extra special because we were there to celebrate an intimate send off for the bride and groom (Nic & Joseph 🥳) before their scheduled wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara CA. Chef Li and the entire staff at Iki omakase did not disappoint. The entire dining experience…priceless”

“Came for a belated anniversary dinner and had the best time!! Every bite was so so delicious! Highlights include the crab appetizer, mackerel appetizer (the skin was insanely crispy and meat was juicy/tender), kanpachi, tuna with egg yolk, scallop (omg the plumpest scallop I’ve ever had), wagyu, and hairy crab (extra order, so buttery and rich). I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and will definitely be back!!”

“Visited for their weekend brunch and had the brunch special thali, channa bhature, and the Chef’s Choice mixed tandoori platter.
The channa bhature was definitely our favorite. the bhature was fresh and fluffy, and the channa was full of flavor without being too heavy.

The brunch special thali was also a great way to try a variety of dishes, with generous portions and well-balanced flavors.

Ended with masala tea in very elegant style and dessert which was just fine for me.

The ambiance was elegant and comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive throughout our visit. It’s also a plus that they serve halal food. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back.”

Pan-fried cheese, might have benefitted a clearer description as was thinking it was more like a halloumi but of course, is my ignorance but perhaps others would be, also. Calamari delicious. Baklava was outstanding, also. Cannot wait to go back, again!”
