Incredible service!
The burger is so yummy! Also I looked a the brunch menu prices accidentally even though I ordered during dinner and they honored the brunch price and charged me for that. So nice
French onion was skippable. Beef bourgignon tasted very good. The spicy sausage rigatoni is indeed spicy and very good. The Penne Chicken Alfredo was not very creamy but shockingly good.

Portola Bistro is a wonderful lunch and dinner restaurant in a very cozy neighborhood. The burger is so yummy, and the spicy sausage rigatoni is indeed spicy and very good. The beef bourgignon tasted very good, and the Penne Chicken Alfredo was shockingly good. The pan seared salmon and chicken & waffles were pretty solid, with the salmon being the best. The French onion was skippable. The authentic Italian cuisine food was amazing, and the service was great. The ambience was gorgeous, making it great for date night. The staff made guests feel genuinely welcome, and every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented, using fresh, quality ingredients. The cocktails were excellent, and the desserts were the perfect finish. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. The Grilled Octopus and Seafood Linguini were especially delicious. Pricing is actually not that bad for the area, so it is definitely worth a visit. It is easily one of the top dining spots in Portola Valley. Highly recommend!
